God’s Witness…

God always leaves for Himself a witness to confirm his word. When the time drew close for Jesus’ to be crucified, the High Priest that year, Caiaphas, did a very profound thing, when the Sanhedrin wanted to put Jesus to death. He said: You know nothing at all!

statement, saying: 51 Now he did not say this simply of his own accord [he was not self-moved]; but being the high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus was to die for the nation, [Isa. 53:8.]

52 And not only for the nation but also for the purpose of uniting into one body the children of God who have been scattered far and wide. [Isa. 49:6.] (John 11:5152) Ampl God, by the Holy Spirit, prophesied by the mouth of the High Priest, confirming that Jesus would die for the forgiveness of sins of all mankind.

comes? According to the word of the prophet Isaiah about King Cyrus, God said: 8 But you, Israel, My servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, the offspring of Abraham My friend, [Heb. 2:16; James 2:23.] 9 You whom I [the Lord] have taken from the ends of the earth and have called from the corners of it, and said to you, You are My servant, I have chosen you and not cast you off [even though you are exiled].

God has chosen, Abraham, His friend’s offspring, for a very specific purpose in this last hour. This offspring, according to the prophet, will be taken from the ends of the earth. If Israel is the place of origin, then the ends of the earth would be like the furthest corners of the earth. South Africa is the furthest country towards the south of Israel, lying directly south of Israel.

Therefore the words of the prophet: 6 I will say to the north, Give up! And to the south, Keep not back.

Bring My sons from afar and My daughters from the ends of the earth. 7 Even everyone who is called

by My name, whom I have created for My glory, whom I have formed, whom I have made. (Isa 41:6-7) Ampl God had kept a remnant of His people, calling them his sons and daughters, also calling them: “Israel, My Servant”, saying that they were created for the sake of His Glory. God is about to Glorify His Name before the Gentiles, like never before. About 4000 years before, Moses prophesied about two tribes that would call the people to the mountains. They would play a significant role in preparing God people before the coming of our Messiah – Yashua Meshiach.

Zuma drew censure from religious and secular groups alike when he declared that the ANC would rule South Africa until the return of Jesus Christ, and that its continued governance was just what God wanted: God expects us to rule this country because we are the only organisation which was blessed by pastors when it was formed. servant whom I have chosen, that you may know Me, believe Me and remain steadfast to Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Me. 11 I, even I, am the Lord, and besides Me there is no Saviour. By this obscure deed, which the prophet prophesied about, God challenges all other gods, or religions, to tell us the truth of those things, which are about to come to pass. God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, says that He alone is the Lord and the only Saviour of mankind. Now He will bring forth a powerful witness for Himself and for the sake of His own Name, so that all men would turn to Him. YHWH has chosen a people who would believe and remain steadfastly devoted to Him, knowing that He alone is their God.

Gentiles (the peoples outside of Israel) set their hopes. [Isa. 42:1-4.] (Mat 12:21) Ampl Paul the apostle identified this Israel of God in prophecy, saying: 14 For He is [Himself] our peace (our bond of unity and harmony). He has made us both [Jew and Gentile] one [body], and has broken down (destroyed, abolished) the hostile dividing wall between us, 15 By abolishing in His [own crucified] flesh the enmity [caused by] the Law with its decrees and ordinances [which He annulled]; that He from the two might create in Himself one new man [one new quality of humanity out of the two], so making peace. 16 And [He designed] to reconcile to God both [Jew and Gentile, united] in a single body by means of His cross, thereby killing the mutual enmity and bringing the feud to an end. 17 And He came and preached the glad tidings of peace to you who were afar off and [peace] to those who were near. [Isa. 57:19.] (Eph 2:14-17) Ampl

We, just like the prophets of old, now call all men to turn to God, in repentance, seeking His face, turning from all their wicked ways before it is too late. We should turn to God while there is still mercy as the prophet said: 5 Behold, you [Israel] shall call nations that you know not, and nations that do not know you shall run to you because of the Lord your God, and of the Holy One of Israel, for He has glorified you. 6 Seek, inquire for, and require the Lord while He may be found [claiming Him by necessity and by right]; call upon Him while He is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the Lord, and He will have love, pity, and mercy for him, and to our God, for He will multiply to him His abundant pardon. (Isa 55:5-6) Ampl God is pleading with all men to forsake their evil thoughts about Him. He says that He is full of love, pity and mercy and He wants to abundantly pardon their wrongs, their slips and transgressions.

The offspring of Abraham, whether Jews or Gentiles, were reconciled back to God by the love of God shown in Jesus Christ on the Cross. God removed the apartheid or the dividing wall of hostility, between Jews and Gentiles, just like He did, between black and white in South Africa, making true peace possible.

YHWH, by the mouth of His prophet, challenges the people, saying: 8 Bring forth the blind people who have eyes and the deaf who have ears. 9 Let all the nations be gathered together and let the peoples be assembled.

Who among [the idolaters] could predict this [that Cyrus would be the deliverer of Israel] and show us the former things? Let them bring their witnesses, that they may be justified, or let them hear and acknowledge, It is the truth. [Ps. 123:3, 4.] 10 You are My witnesses, says the Lord, and My

not know you shall run to you’. God has hidden a people, at the ends of the earth, who would give heed to His call, which He now send out by the mouths of His servants, His prophets.

was called Belteshazzar. And the word was true and it referred to great tribulation (conflict and wretchedness). And he understood the word and had understanding of the vision. [Dan. 8:26; Rev. 19:9.] 2 In those days I, Daniel, was mourning for three whole weeks. (Daniel 10:1-2) Ampl God revealed the future of His people, to Daniel.

How they would reject the coming Messiah and would again be taken into captivity. They would be dispersed across the face of the entire earth. He mourned for three weeks because of the vision which was revealed to him. His saw in the future that a great tribulation that would come upon His people, because of this rejection of Yashua, their Messiah.

Rebuilding the Old Ruins…

The end of a great season had come in the time of the prophet Daniel, who was in Babylon, as was written in the book of Daniel. Daniel, being a prophet and scribe, to whom God gave great understanding in all manners of learning and skill, studied the words of the prophet Jeremiah and as written: 2 In the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the books the number of years which, according to the word of the Lord to Jeremiah the prophet, must pass by before the desolations [which had been] pronounced on Jerusalem should end; and it was seventy years.

[Jer. 25:11, 12; 29:10.] (Dan 9:2) Ampl Daniel discovered that God had determined that Israel would be taken away into captivity for a period of 70 years, a year for each year they did not keep the Sabbath weeks, as is written: 21 To fulfil the Lord's word by Jeremiah, till the land had enjoyed its sabbaths; for as long as it lay desolate it kept sabbath to fulfil seventy years. [Lev. 25:4; 26:43; Jer. 25:11; 29:10.] (2Ch 36:21) Ampl God took them into captivity out of the land of Israel, until the land had rested its full period of 70 years.

During those years, it was a glorious time for the people of Israel. For God raised up His anointed, Cyrus, to give the command to rebuild the Temple and restore the walls of Jerusalem, as is written: 1 NOW IN the first year of Cyrus king of Persia [almost seventy years after the first Jewish captives were taken to Babylon], that the word of the Lord by the mouth of Jeremiah might begin to be accomplished, the Lord stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom and put it also in writing: [Jer. 29:10-14.]

2 Thus says Cyrus king of Persia: “The Lord, the God of heaven, has given me all the kingdoms of the earth, and He has charged me to build Him a house at Jerusalem in Judah. 3 Whoever is among you of all His people, may his God be with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem in Judah and rebuild the house of the Lord, the God of Israel, in Jerusalem; He is God. 4 And in any place where a survivor [of the Babylonian captivity of the Jews] sojourns, let the men of that place assist him with silver and gold, with goods and beasts, besides freewill offerings for the house of God

Daniel prayed and fasted, because the time of captivity for His people had come to it end. He inquired from God about this historic time in which many things were about to happen. While he humbled himself before God, an angel appeared to Him to give him understanding of the implication of this completion of Israel’s captivity.

in Jerusalem. 5 Then rose up the heads of the fathers' houses of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests and Levites, with all those whose spirits God had stirred up, to go up to rebuild the house of the Lord in Jerusalem. 6 And all those who were around them aided them with vessels of silver, with gold, goods, beasts, and precious things, besides all that was willingly and freely offered. 7 Also Cyrus the king brought out the vessels of the house of the Lord, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought from Jerusalem [when he took that city] and had put in the house of his gods. 8 These Cyrus king of Persia directed Mithredath the treasurer to bring forth and count out to Sheshbazzar [who is Zerubbabel, recognized as the legitimate heir to the throne of David] the prince of Judah. (Ezra 1:1-8) Ampl

The enemy did try to prevent the work of God from being completed, but the workers and the elders were encouraged by the Spirit of God, by the mouth of the two prophets, whom God had raised up, as was written: 14 And the elders of the Jews built and prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah son of Iddo. They finished their building as commanded by the God of Israel and by decree of Cyrus and Darius and Artaxerxes king of Persia. 15 And this house was finished on the third day of the month of Adar, in the sixth year of the reign of King Darius. God raised up Nehemiah to make request from King Artaxerxes to return to Jerusalem to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.

During that same time God raised up two prophets, Haggai and Zechariah, as was written: 1 NOW THE prophets, Haggai and Zechariah son [grandson] of Iddo, prophesied to the Jews in Judah and Jerusalem in the name of the God of Israel, Whose [Spirit] was upon them. 2 Then rose up Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel [heir to the throne of Judah] and Jeshua son of Jozadak and began to build the house of God in Jerusalem; and with them were the prophets of God [Haggai and Zechariah], helping them. [Hag. 1:12-14; Matt. 1:12, 13.] (Ezra 5:1-2) Ampl They were raised up by the Spirit of God to encourage the king of Judah, Zerubbabel, and the High Priest, Joshua, to continue and complete the work, which God had called them for.

By the mouth of the prophet the Lord asked them a question? 4 “Is it time for you yourselves to dwell in your panelled houses while this house [of the Lord] lies in ruins? (Hag 1:4) Ampl The Israelites returned to Israel and started to build for themselves houses to live in. Each one of them got so busy getting their own panelled houses in order that they forgot to repair the House of God. Then God sent prophets to redirect the attention of the people back to repairing the House of God. The prophet explained they had sown much, but reaped little, as is written: “9 You looked for much [harvest], and behold, it came to little; and even when you brought that home, I blew it

Why?” says the Lord of hosts. “Because of My house, which lies waste while you yourselves run each man to his own house [eager to build and adorn it]. 10 Therefore the heavens above you [for your sake] withhold the dew, and the earth withholds its produce. 11 And I have called for a drought upon the land and the hill country, upon the grain, the fresh wine, the oil, upon what the ground brings forth, upon men and cattle, and upon all the [wearisome] toil of [men's] hands.” (Hag 1:9) Ampl The prophet said that the people have sown much but reaped little, because the ‘heavens above’ have been closed and have withheld its ‘dew’.

God has withheld the fullness of the blessing of His Spirit, that He had promised by His servant Yashua, saying: 12 “I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, if anyone steadfastly believes in Me, he will himself be able to do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these, because I go to the Father. 13 And I will do [I Myself will grant] whatever you ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) the Son. [Exod. 3:14.] 14 [Yes] I will grant [I Myself will do for you] whatever you shall ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM]. (Joh 14:12-14) Ampl

God, as was written: 12 Then Zerubbabel son of Shealtiel and Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, with all the remnant of the people [who had returned from captivity], listened to and obeyed the voice of the Lord their God [not vaguely or partly, but completely, according to] the words of Haggai the prophet, since the Lord their God had sent him, and the people [reverently] feared and [worshipfully] turned to the Lord. (Hag 1:12) Ampl We often start what God told us to do, but do not complete it. God stirred up the people’s hearts to complete the work that He had called them to complete. After the House of God was built the people wept, because it was nothing compared to the first temple, which was built by King Solomon. Then God again spoke by the mouth of the prophet, making a great promise to the people. Looking into the future the prophet saw yet another temple that would be build, as was written: 9 The latter glory of this house [with its successor, to which Jesus came] shall be greater than the former, says the Lord of hosts; and in this place will I give peace and prosperity, says the Lord of hosts. (Hag 2:9) Ampl The prophet Haggai referred to the Glory of God that would come upon mankind in great power and glory, no longer limited by a temple building, but would be living in each man, as was prophesied by the prophet Isaiah, when God said: 1 Thus says the Lord: “Heaven is My throne, and the earth is My footstool. What kind of house would you build for Me? And what kind can be My resting-place? [Acts 17:24.] 2 For all these things My hand has made, and so all these things have come into being [by and for Me], says the Lord.

But this is the man to whom I will look and have regard: he who is humble and of a broken or wounded spirit, and who trembles at My word

We have not seen the great hand of God moved like it was in the days of Moses and Elijah. Why not is the question which we should have asked? God said He has closed the ‘heavens above’ and it has withheld its ‘dew’. This is the same ‘dew’, which God wants to pour out on His people. This dew is the dew from Heaven. and reveres My commands.” [John 4:24.] (Isa 66:12) Ampl God has always been looking for a humble people, who are poor in spirit and who trembles at His Word. This is the kind of house that He wants to come and live in. God wants to live in each one of us personally, manifesting His Glory with in each one of us.

Priest Joshua was only a sign, saying: 3 Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments and was standing before the Angel [of the Lord]. 4 And He spoke to those who stood before Him, saying: “Take away the filthy garments from him. And He said to [Joshua], Behold, I have caused your iniquity to pass from you, and I will clothe you with rich apparel. 5 And I [Zechariah] said: "Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So they put a clean turban on his head and clothed him with [rich] garments. And the Angel of the Lord stood by. (Zech 3:3) Ampl He also saw the second coming of the One who would be called the “Branch” – Jesus came as the suffering servant of YHWH, but would later become the ‘Branch’ that would rule upon the Kingly throne of David, as was written: 12 And say to him, Thus says the Lord of hosts: [You, Joshua] behold (look at, keep in sight, watch) the Man [the Messiah] whose name is the Branch, for He shall grow up in His place and He shall build the [true] temple of the Lord. [Isa. 4:2; Jer. 23:5; 33:15; Zech.

3:8.] 13 Yes, [you are building a temple of the Lord, but] it is He Who shall build the [true] temple of the Lord, and He shall bear the honour and glory [as of the only begotten of the Father] and shall sit and rule upon His throne. And He shall be a Priest upon His throne, and the counsel of peace shall be between the two [offices--Priest and King].

God has always been very consequent is His deeds towards men. He has always sent His prophets to prepare His people before He begins a work in the earth, as is written: 7 “Surely the Lord God will do nothing without revealing His secret to His servants the prophets.” [Rev. 10:7.] (Amos 3:7) Ampl

The Prophet Zechariah: In those days God did not only send one prophet, but two prophets. The prophet Zechariah was also sent by God with a message, saying: “2 The Lord was very angry with your fathers.” (Zech 1:2) Ampl God had been very angry because of all the lies which we have inherited from our fore fathers. They have worshipped idols, by partaking of the things of the old harlot city of Babel. We have held on to many things which God hates and find an abomination in His Face.

The prophet saw many visions from the Lord God, which He did not understand. These visions were types and shadows of things that were to come in the distant future. Major world events were hidden in the parables of these things, which the angel came and revealed to the prophet Zechariah. The visions, which he had seen referred to his time, but were only types of other things, which would only come to pass many hundreds and even thousands of years later. each of the seven lamps which are upon the top of it. [Matt. 5:14, 16; Luke 12:35; Phil. 2:15; Rev. 1:20.] 3 And there are two olive trees by it, one upon the right side of the bowl and the other upon the left side of it [feeding it continuously with oil]. [Rev. 11:413.] (Zech 4:2-3) Ampl

Then the angel answered him saying: “Do you not know what these are?” And the prophet said: “No, my lord.” (Zech 4:13) Ampl Then the angel said: 14 “…These are the two sons of oil [Joshua the high priest and Zerubbabel the prince of Judah, the two anointed ones] who stand before the Lord of the whole earth [as His anointed instruments]. [Rev. 11:4.] (Zech 4:14) Ampl The Angel whom God had gave the interpretation of the word of the Lord to the prophet Zechariah, concerning the two olive trees having two olive branches. He said that the two persons: Joshua and Zerubbabel received their instructions via two pipes through, which the oil of the word of God would come to His people, regarding the rebuilding of the House of God. Who are these two pipes?

Then the Angel asked the prophet what this meant?

The prophet did not know what this meant. Then the angel gave the interpretation of the vision, which he saw, saying: 6 Then he said to me: “This [addition of the bowl to the candlestick, causing it to yield a ceaseless supply of oil from the olive trees] is the word of the Lord to Zerubbabel, saying: “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit [of Whom the oil is a symbol]”, says the Lord of hosts. (Zech 4:6) Ampl The word that God had sent by His servants the prophets was sent to encourage, direct and lead the rebuilding of the Temple of God. God Himself was in control of what He wanted to be accomplished in the days of the rebuilding of Jerusalem and the Temple, therefore He said: “Not by human strength or ability will this be done, but by the leading and the guidance of the power of the Holy Spirit.”

Signs of God… 18 Behold, I and the children whom the Lord has given me are signs and wonders [that are to take place] in Israel from the Lord of hosts, Who dwells on Mount Zion. (Isa 8:18) Ampl These things are a type of those things which are about to occur in the earth. They are very similar, although spiritual in nature to those things, which will now be fulfilled in South Africa, just before Jesus Christ is revealed in the heavens, coming to take away His bride. God has determined that out of the country of South Africa, He would glorify His Name. Those who will not listen to the warnings of His servants the prophets will be cut off from His people. God is about to shake the heavens and the earth, but men are not aware of it.

After this the prophet asked the angel another question, saying: “11 …What are these two olive trees on the right side of the lampstand and on the left side of it? 12 And a second time I said to him: “What are these two olive branches, which are beside the two golden tubes or spouts by which the golden oil is emptied out? (Zech 4:11-12) Ampl The prophet did not understand the vision, which he saw concerning this lampstand and the word of the Lord to the King of Judah. He wondered how this related to the prophecy, which he was receiving from the Lord God of Heaven and earth, who alone knows all things?

Prophecy

The Servant 24 June 2009

8 Fear not, nor be afraid [in the coming violent upheavals]; have I not told it to you from of old and declared it? And you are My witnesses! Is there a God besides Me? There is no [other] Rock; I know not any. (Isa 44:6-8) Ampl

Hidden in this prophecy, concerning the time of the rule of Cyrus, His Anointed, which the God of Heaven gave the prophet Isaiah was a great promise regarding the last days, in which we now live. God promised those, His chosen ones, those who will pay attention to the words of His servants, His prophets, in these days, saying: 3 For I will pour water upon him who is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground. I will pour My Spirit upon your offspring, and My blessing upon your descendants. [Isa. 32:15; 35:6, 7; Joel 2:28; John 7:37-39.] 4 And they shall spring up among the grass like willows or poplars by the watercourses. 5 One will say, I am the Lord's; and another will call himself by the name of Jacob; and another will write [even brand or tattoo] upon his hand, I am the Lord's, and surname himself by the [honourable] name of Israel. (Isa 44:3-5) Ampl God is about to do great things for those who will devote themselves to obey Him as their only God and deliver.

God promises by the mouth of the prophet that He would pour out His Spirit upon His people. The Holy Spirit, by the mouth of the prophet says that a generation who was hidden for generations will suddenly spring up like willows by the watercourses.

The hidden offspring of Jacob is about to spring up and glorify God like never before. Who is this offspring of Israel?

God called me as a witness of that which are now about to come to pass. Therefore let us not be like blind men who stumble in the day, not knowing that their salvation is near!

God will surely glorify His Name before all the nations of the world by the mouth of His true servants the prophets, as the prophet wrote long ago, saying: 26 [The Lord] Who confirms the word of His servant and performs the counsel of His messengers, Who says of Jerusalem, She shall [again] be inhabited, and of the cities of Judah, They shall [again] be built, and I will raise up their ruins, 27 Who says to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up your rivers, 28 Who says of Cyrus, He is My shepherd (ruler), and he shall perform all My pleasure and fulfil all My purpose, even saying of Jerusalem, She shall [again] be built, and of the temple, Your foundation shall [again] be laid.

(Isa 44:26) Ampl God have chosen a time and a season to restore the old ruins of many generations. God has determined that His Temple will again be rebuild so that the Glory that it had before would be greater than that of any former glory or temple that ever existed. God will make a way where there was no way to accomplish His sent word in this generation.

God challenges all those who say that they are prophets, let them now come forth and tell us the truth, saying: 6 Thus says the Lord: “The King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts: I am the First and I am the Last; besides Me there is no God. [Rev. 1:17; 2:8; 22:13.] 7 Who is like Me? Let him [stand and] proclaim it, declare it, and set [his proofs] in order before Me, since I made and established the people of antiquity. [Who has announced from of old] the things that are coming? Then let them declare yet future things.
