Meet the mind and eye behind Quiksilver Womens Collection.

“That feeling of freedom, of carelessness, of not knowing what tomorrow will bring. That’s usually what leads me to my best ideas.”

“I simply could not live without traveling,” Sophie Srutwa adds, with equal parts charisma and nonchalance.

Sophie was born and raised in Toulouse, France, and the choice to become an apparel designer was an easy one for her. She’s been dreaming up designs for as long as she can remember.

Sophie pursued her passion and has worked at a number of leading fashion and sportswear brands.

These days — when she’s not on the road — she’s bringing her ideas to life at Quiksilver’s office in Saint Jean de Luz, France.

A diehard vintage and denim aficionado, Sophie loves to customize her outfits. She puts her travel-induced inspiration into every garment, playing with cuts and touch-ups to create unique looks.

Through Sophie’s relentless creativity and unique taste in style, Quiksilver Womens Collection was born.
