Andover is set to take centre stage as plans to construct a brand-new theatre are moving ahead. The theatre will be a pivotal part of the

future vision for town centre, as set out in the Andover Masterplan. The new venue will be transformational for the area, supporting local businesses, bringing communities together, providing a range of entertainment and celebrating creativity.

Accessibility

The Lights is committed to being accessible and welcoming to everyone

■ Up to six wheelchairs can be accommodated in Row A of the auditorium. The Lights has level access to all main spaces and accessible WC facilities.

■ For those with mobility issues we recommend seats in Rows A - C.

■ For seated events, a limited number of wheelchair spaces are available, but advance notification must be given. Like all customers, wheelchair users are urged to book in advance as all spaces held for wheelchair users are released onto general sale once all other seats are sold.

■ Induction loops are available in both the Auditorium and Arena Hall.

■ Pre-site visits can be arranged with a member of The Lights team, contact Box Office for more information.

■ Accessible toilets and babychanging facilities are provided.

■ Guide, hearing, and assistance dogs are welcome throughout the building.

■ An essential companion scheme is available for people with a disability who require someone to assist them and support their visit to the venue.

Please discuss any access requirements with the Box Office team when making your booking.

■ Some Arena music events are standing only. Customers with access requirements or those who have difficulty standing for long periods should inform the Box Office in advance of the event. The Duty Manager of the event will do everything possible to ensure a comfortable viewing position is provided. It is not possible to place freestanding stools or seats at the front of the arena for Health and Safety reasons.

■ Children under the age of two years are only admitted to the auditorium for family and children’s shows and must be as a babe in arms. Children over two years will require their own seat and therefore a ticket.

■ Child booster seats are available for use on a first come first served basis.

■ The venue has a limited number of ear defenders, should those who require them, not bring them to a show. In the event that the venue runs out of ear defenders, there are earplugs available, an usher or Duty Manager on site can assist with this requirement

■ The Lights venue is listed on Euan’s Guide, a listings and review website that helps disabled people and their families know which venues are truly accessible.

The venue is situated a two-minute walk from the main town centre and bus station and a ten-minute walk from Andover Rail station. Andover is well placed off the A303 and within easy reach of the A34.

Parking

There are multiple car parks close by to The Lights, including West Street Car Park, The Chantry Centre MultiStorey Car Park, Malborough Street Car Park or Anton House Car Park.

■ Please note that we charge a £1.20 non-refundable booking fee when booking online to cover the costs involved in running the ticketing software and computer network

■ Tickets can be printed at home or filed for collection at the Box Office, or they can be posted for £1

■ A £1 charge will be made for reprinting tickets.

■ The Lights reserves the right to change ticket prices for specific offers in the programme.

■ Reservations will be kept for 3 days after which time they will be released for sale.

■ Tickets are non-refundable except in the case of a cancelled performance.

■ Buy 10 tickets for 1 show and you will receive the 11th free of charge. This can only be processed on the phone or in person.

■ Concessionary ticket prices are available on selected shows for senior citizens over 60 years, children under 18, full-time students, and registered unemployed. Proof of entitlement may be requested.

■ Children under 2 years are permitted on laps in the Auditorium for family and children’s shows.

■ Smoking and E-cigarettes are not permitted anywhere inside the building.

■ Audience members may be dancing in their seats for certain performances in the auditorium.

Refund Policy

Cancelled and Rescheduled Events

In line with our usual practice, a refund, gift voucher or transfer to an alternative show will be offered for any event which we have cancelled (excluding the £1.20 non-refundable online booking fee).

We will offer a refund, gift voucher or transfer to an alternative show to any customer who is unable to attend an event that we have rescheduled. In these cases, we are only able to offer refunds up to two weeks before the new date of the event.

If you feel able to, we gratefully accept donations of your ticket value in place of refunds or gift vouchers when events cannot take place.

Other Refund Requests

In line with most theatres, we do not offer refunds for non-attendance at events due to other demands on a ticket holders time, or for general illness.

In exceptional circumstances we may be able to help you to exchange your tickets for another event or, in the case of soldout shows, make your tickets available to someone on a waiting list. If we are able to resell them, we will return the face value of the ticket in gift vouchers. Please be aware, we will not be able to resell the tickets on the day of the event.
