Winter 2022/3Spring 2023

Awarm welcome to The Lights from the team, many of whom are pictured above in our Atrium Café. This brochure covers our busiest season from Christmas through to Easter, full of family shows such as Captain Calamity, Burglar Bill, Pop Princesses and Curious Investigators – we are sure the adults will have as much fun as the children!

We are also delighted that Amanda from Merry-Go-Round Storytelling will be back for a monthly interactive storytelling session in

the Arena on the third Tuesday of every month with her trusty companion Fred the Cat –great for pre-schoolers, and there is a rumour that Clare in the café has devised some Fred the Cat biscuits especially!

We haven’t forgotten the adults either, with speakers including Mark Beaumont and the (almost) local adventurer, James Ketchell, heaps of musical tributes including Elton John, The Who and The Kinks and a brilliant new standing gig from Parklife: The Sound of Britpop – dig out your parkas and enjoy the battle of the Britpop bands with music from Blur, Oasis, Manic Street Preachers and more.

For something completely different check out Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote, the hilarious, interactive comedy night out for friends, work colleagues or just Fangelas of the legendary Angela Lansbury aka Jessica Fletcher.

There is so much more to enjoy at The Lights, too much to pack in here, so do check out our website (www.thelights.org.uk) or chat to our lovely box office team: 01264 368368. We look forward to seeing you!
