Kenedy & Sons publjshing firm, the increase in the number of Oatholics in the Diocese of Fall River amounted to 6,688 or 2.4% gain, while the national increase totaled only 1.3%. There are now 277,916 Catholics in the Fall River Diocese while the last report in 1965 listed! 270,228.
