MEET OUR NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dean Williams as our new Managing Director, effective from 1st December 2023. Dean brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in the kitchen industry. With over 25 years of leadership experience, he is well-positioned to lead The 1810 Company/SCHOCK UK into a new era of growth and innovation. Dean said: "After a break from the
manufacturing and supply side of the industry, I am thrilled with the opportunity to join The 1810 Company/SCHOCK UK and contribute to the continued success enjoyed under the previous leadership of Gareth Williams.
"I am deeply committed to driving the company forward by leveraging innovative strategies, fostering a culture of creativity and collaboration, and focusing on customer satisfaction. "My goal is to enhance our product offerings and explore new market opportunities, ensuring that The 1810 Company/SCHOCK UK remain leaders in the industry. excellence.” Dean will work closely with Gareth, who founded the company in 2009. Gareth will continue to work within the business in his new role as Chairman. His impressive track record, skills and industry expertise make him the perfect fit to guide the company towards even greater success. "He will play a pivotal role in shaping our future."
Customers will soon be able to access The 1810 Company's all-new website. The new site is set to go live soon and will host an array of new features aimed at streamlining and improving the customer experience when shopping for 1810 and SCHOCK products. One of the exciting new features is the ability for trade
customers to order 1810 and SCHOCK products directly from the website without the need to log in to our separate ordering hub. Keep your eyes peeled for our official launch email - you will then be sent your company login details in a separate email shortly after and will be able to start browsing and placing orders straight away.

The 1810 Company was asked to be part of a full-home renovation which was set to be the focus on an episode of one of the UK’s most popular TV shows. Our AXIXUNO 500U sink and Spirale tap, both in our Copper finish, were selected by the team working on DIY SOS: The Big Build at a property in St Ives, Cornwall. The episode followed Nick Knowles and his DIY SOS team, along with hundreds of volunteers as they renovated the home of three orphaned boys.
Congratulations to Simply Kitchens who were named as the most recent Dealer of the Quarter winner by The 1810 Company/SCHOCK. The team at the Plymouth-based company were presented with a £200 voucher to thank them for their continued business and support.
WELCOME BOX GIFTS FOR NEW AMBASSADORS As part of the re-launch of our Brand Ambassador Programme, new Brand Ambassadors are set to receive a gift-filled welcome box as a thank you for coming onboard. The box will feature a range of 1810/SCHOCKrelated goods, such as a

SCHOCK'S RECYCLABLE SINK RANGE Did you know sinks from SCHOCK's CRISTADUR® Green Line range can be returned to be recycled in SCHOCK's Closed Cycle? Selected products from the range are available from The 1810 Company, and although the highlysustainable sinks are made to last, they will still need to be replaced at some point.
This is where SCHOCK's cutting-edge technology comes in: your CRISTADUR® Green Line model goes back into the closed cycle and is recycled into new sinks. UK customers wishing to return their CRISTADUR® Green Line sink for recycling can return it to The 1810 Company.

0% Dimension Tolerance
MAYA Earlier this year, The 1810 Company launched the new MAYA range of Purquartz Belfast sinks. Offering a traditional design with a modern twist, the new sink is manufactured in Purquartz and is available in Black and White colour options. A huge benefit of using Purquartz over traditional methods of manufacturing Belfast sinks is its 0% dimension tolerance. Handmade kiln-fired sinks tend to expand and shrink during the manufacturing process, this then introduces a permitted manufacturing tolerance from the dimensions advertised. By using Purquartz, we have eliminated the possibility of this, so your sink is guaranteed to meet the exact measurements specified in its description.

BILANCIO
In September, The 1810 Company announced the introduction of a new, budget-friendly stainless steel kitchen sink range – the Bilancio. Crafted with quality and affordability in mind, the Bilancio combines durability and a sleek design at an affordable price. The Bilancio range is manufactured from 0.8mm thick stainless steel and consists of three sizes – 860mm (single bowl/drainer), 965mm (large single bowl/drainer) and 965mm (1.5 bowl/drainer). All three models are reversible, providing a versatile installation option for every kitchen design.
ESTRARRE
Two all-new pull-out taps have been added to The 1810 Company's range. With emphasis on both design and functionality, the Ritrarre and Estrarre taps are available in Brushed Gold, Rose Copper, Matte Black, Brushed Steel and Gunmetal. Both models are fitted with an automatic retractable spout, which is self-contained in the body of the tap, meaning no unsightly weights hanging down and taking up valuable cabinet space.

It’s lights out... And away we go! Guests at the latest 1810/ SCHOCK team bonding event were able to follow in the tyre marks of Formula 1 legends as they enjoyed an experience day at Silverstone, the home of British motorsport. A group of customers joined our then-Managing Director Gareth Williams, and a number of our area managers, at the Porsche Experience Centre situated at the worldfamous circuit. Each guest was able to put their driving skills to the test
in both the Porsche 718 and 911 cars, whilst also taking the opportunity to learn more about the German car manufacturer’s history and specialist automotive knowledge. We regularly host events for our Brand Ambassador customers.
