Wellington Zoo celebrates milestone birthday in Tip Top style
Visitors to the zoo this summer have the opportunity to win a cool treat to last the whole year. This year Wellington Zoo has celebrated 110 years, and to continue celebrations, the zoo has now teamed up with iconic Kiwi brand Tip Top, partnerships manager Alicia Harris said. “Our partners at Tip Top are also celebrating their birthday – having just turned 80, so they’ve joined us to offer one lucky Wellington Zoo visitor a year’s worth of Tip Top joy,” she said. “Tip Top shares our love for the environment, and have found alternatives to palm oil for their products to avoid deforestation. “The lucky winner will be able to enjoy their ice-cream knowing that it has been created
without harm to the environment of beautiful wild animals like Sumatran tigers.” Wellington Zoo has been celebrating their birthday since April 20 with a series of different events. Now, leading into summer, every person who visits Wellington Zoo until January 31 next year can go in the draw to win a year’s worth of Tip Top ice-cream. “To make it the best 110th birthday ever, there will also be extra activities for our visitors run on a daily basis – making it a summer to remember at Wellington Zoo,” Alicia said.
