Householder tackles night ‘burglar’ Daughter alerts sleeping dad TOM DOUDNEY
Chris Flanagan (left) reckons the “high tackle” he used to take down an alleged burglar in his garage probably would have earned him a yellow card on the rugby field. The 50-year-old real estate agent and Weedons Rd resident was alerted to the presence of the 21-yearold alleged offender by his daughter Rosa. The alleged offender, a Burnham man, was expected to appear in the Christchurch District Court yesterday.
