On arrival, customers are encouraged to enjoy the Italian style show area/plaza with the wide array of plants, pots and sculptures or to sit and relax in one of the informal seating areas which include a new Tiki bar, whilst soaking up the true essence of the Mediterranean. The new, undercover Jungle Area which has been added this season will intrique customers young and old and has been designed to give greater inspiration, wider plant choice and an interesting, if not different approach to the typical “British” garden. With a large range of animals set amongst exotic plants, palm trees, ferns, grasses and olive trees, visitors will be able to take a walk on the wild side and let their imagination take them to far away places.
Olive Grove Nurseries is a new and exciting Mediterranean style nursery which has been developed by owners Tim and Jackie Thackeray. Together they have created an inspirational 6acre environment for home gardeners, garden designers and landscaping contractors. Displaying a vast range of Mediterranean plants which includes large specimen palm trees, over 1200 olive trees ranging from 1 year old to 450 years old and a myriad of plants that provide a fusion of colour and aroma to any garden a visit
