The Sales Market Is Still FLAT
Buyers are still very cautious about what they’re spending and want to be certain they’re getting the best value for their dollar. And the competition within our community, and with other communities, is Red Hot. There are a lot of homes available to buyers.
It remains a BUYER’S MARKET. Understand that your house won’t sell as though we were in a hot market. Be realistic about your home price and willing to negotiate, especially for cash buyers.
The basics remain the same: Clean, Bright, Light, Airy, White (ideally). Selling a home with dark painted walls is a challenge. Clear clutter. Above all - have your home smell fresh and clean! One or two Linen Scented Glade plug-ins
create a feeling that your home is clean and well maintained. Bump up your curb and patio appeal with some good-looking potted plants. Remember - potted plants are easier to weed than an entire flower bed. Create a seating area on your carport, porch, etc ... Outside living space is an expected amenity for any home; being outside in our beautiful weather is why people move here.

Please be aware Hurricane Season begins June 1st. Below please find some tips to prepare from the Florida Division of Emergency Management:
• Develop a comprehensive disaster plan before a storm threatens your area.
• Check your insurance.
• Double check and update the tie-down and anchoring system that is keeping your manufactured home grounded.
• Every homeowner should have a disaster preparedness kit.
• Turn off water lines before a storm.
• Secure the area around the home.
• Have your evacuation plan ready.
• Reinforce your mobile home by having your roof and soffits inspected for damage and weakness to wind and rain and installing storm shutters.
Preparation now may help protect your assets and makes things easier should a storm approach.
