Do You Know Who You’re Letting In Through The Gate?

The gates are closed.

Your cell phone rings and shows “GATE”. Are you expecting company?

Did you order a delivery Pizza

InstaCart

Something else you KNOW you ordered?

Is your answer NO? Then Hang up on the call

Don’t open the gate for a stranger

If it’s a valid visitor or delivery service, they can take the time to look up the homeowners’ name in the electronic directory (on the metal pedestal). Or they can call the homeowner directly.

What Are We Doing About The Muscovy Ducks?

Those are the red, black and white ducks. Yes, they are a challenge. And they make a BIG mess. They are a protected species, which makes removing them difficult. But we are working on it.

Please don’t feed them. It only encourages them to stay. Muscovy ducks can be as aggressive as Canada geese. If you try to chase them, they may turn around and chase you. If they do, please come to the office and complete a complaint form.

May Pet of the Month

The May pet of the month is Sweetie Wagner her mom is Frances Wagner. Sweetie is a brown mix.

They met on the beach of Costa Rica where Sweetie was a beach bum. But when they met, it was instant LOVE. Her favorite toy is squeaky toy. MESSAGE FROM YOUR SAWGRASS TRAILS SALES TEAM

Florida’s housing market is currently navigating a confluence of economic and environmental challenges that could precipitate a downturn. The state has been particularly susceptible to extreme weather events, such as hurricanes and flooding, which have caused extensive property damage and led to a surge in insurance premiums. These escalating costs not only strain current homeowners but also deter potential buyers, contributing to a cooling housing market.

In addition to environmental concerns, Florida is experiencing a slowdown in population growth, which has historically been a key driver of its housing demand.

The combination of rising living costs, including housing and insurance, and the increasing threat of climate-related disasters may be making the state less attractive to newcomers. This shift could lead to an oversupply of homes on the market, exerting downward pressure on property values and signaling potential challenges ahead for the state’s housing sector.
