Hello, and happy New Year. We’re pleased to share that positive progress is being made here at Sawgrass. Our team is diligently working on repairing the fence. Although the process is gradual, steady improvements are being made. Additionally, the new rocks at the pond offer a much cleaner and more attractive look compared to the previous sandbags.
We also now have a confirmed repair date for the pool heater compressor: January 30th. This is an important step toward resolving the issue, and we appreciate your patience.
As a reminder, we ask all residents to check their yards and ensure there are no bird feeders or food items left outside. These can attract unwanted wildlife to our community.
Lastly, thank you to everyone who has provided feedback. Comment cards are available in the clubhouse, and Your input is valuable in helping us continue to improve.

SAWGRASS TRAILS SALES
UPDATE by Larry Juliano
Well, we got past our first chilly month of winter in St. Pete! One down three to go, we know can do it. We all know what’s just around the corner.
The outlook for manufactured home sales in Pinellas County for February 2026 is characterized by a “strong start” driven by affordability and a “rebalancing” of the broader Tampa Bay housing market. As traditional home prices remain high, manufactured homes are positioned as a primary solution for buyers prioritizing cost-effective housing. Market Dynamics for February 2026 • Strong Buyer Demand:
The Tampa Bay region, including Pinellas County, enters 2026 with persistent buyer demand. Economists expect a “bump” in activity early in the year as mortgage rates are forecasted to settle near 6% for much of 2026.
Want more information? Or a no-obligation evaluation of the possible market value of your home? Please call Larry Juliano at the sales office at Sawgrass Trails. Telephone 727-527-4784 or Email to sawsales@cobblestoneassets. com. Please note that Sunday and Monday are my days off.
Cheers and hope to meet with you soon, Larry

Homemade Moose Munch
Published: December 5, 2017 | Modified: October 27, 2024
This homemade moose munch tastes even better than the original! So light, crisp, & buttery, with tender nuts and a hint of chocolate.
1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F, and lightly grease a baking sheet.
2. Place the popcorn in a large mixing bowl, along with the nuts.
3. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat.
4. Stir in the brown sugar, corn syrup, and salt.
5. Increase the heat to medium and bring the mixture to a boil, stirring.
6. When the caramel comes to a boil, reduce the heat to medium low and allow to simmer, stirring, for 3 minutes (or until the temperature is registers about 235 degrees F on a candy thermometer).
7. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in the vanilla and baking soda (the mixture will foam up).
• 1/3 cup dark corn syrup
• 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 ounces white chocolate, melted
• 2 ounces dark chocolate, melted
8. Slowly drizzle the mixture over the popcorn, while stirring/tossing the popcorn to coat it with the hot caramel. (It might be easier if you have a kitchen helper. One can pour while the other stirs.)
9. When the popcorn is well coated with caramel, spread it out in an even layer on a greased baking sheet.
10. Bake for 1 hour.
11. Allow to cool completely, then drizzle with melted white chocolate and melted dark chocolate.
12. Let the chocolate set, then break the moose munch into chunks and package up in mason jars, paper boxes, or cello bags for gifting an even layer on a greased baking sheet.
