M A N AG E R ’ S M E S S AG E We are happy to see everyone is enjoying the new clubhouse. I wanted to emphasize a few things with our new facility area. First, while we encourage kids to enjoy the areas, we do always ask for adult supervision. We have already had one incident where our new pool table was drawn on. We would like to minimize any future incidences so that everyone can enjoy the amenities for a long time to come. Secondly, we do work hard to keep this area clean for you guys, we just ask that you do your part as well by minimizing the stray bottles and trash within the recreation areas. Also, we’ve received a few complaints about park residents not picking up after their pets. As this is a family park, we want to ensure a clean area for our residents and their children. As a reminder, there is a $50 fee for each offense and after the third offense, there are grounds for eviction. We would like to continue encouraging residents to alert us to any new offenses. Thank you for your support, Angel Stone Community Manager

Grand Opening Event!

Thank you to all that attended the Grand Opening Event on October 14th. We were so happy that our residents got to see all of the hard work that went into the new clubhouse and had a fun time eating, drinking, and socializing with their friends and neighbors.

Soft & Chewy GINGER COOKIES INGREDIENTS • • • • • • • • • • • •

All-purpose flour Baking soda Ground ginger Ground cinnamon Ground cloves Molasses Butter Sugar - both granulated sugar & brown sugar. Egg Vanilla extract Salt Sugar coating - I used coarse sugar because I like the texture on the outside of these cookies. You could also just use granulated sugar.

INSTRUCTIONS How to make the best soft and chewy ginger cookies. 1. Combine dry ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt. Set aside. 2. Combine wet ingredients: In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugars using a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Add the egg and beat until incorporated. Then add molasses and vanilla and beat on low until combined. 3. Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients: Gradually add in the dry ingredients and beat until just combined. 4. Chill: Cover the bowl with plastic cling wrap and refrigerate for 2 hours, up to overnight. 5. Bake for 8-10 minutes in a 350 F preheated oven, until the edges are set. Remove from oven and allow the cookies to cool for 5 minutes on the baking sheet. Then, transfer to a wire cooling rack to cool down completely.
