Manager’s Corner Fall has a way of reminding us that change isn’t always a bad thing. The days get shorter, the mornings get cooler, and before long we’ll be trading lawn mowers for rakes. It’s a season that encourages us to slow down just enough to notice the little things—a colorful tree, a warm cup of coffee, or a friendly conversation with a neighbor. As the seasons change, Friendly Ridge changes too. You’ll likely see maintenance crews preparing the community for wetter weather, leaves beginning to collect around the park, and residents getting their homes ready for the months ahead. We appreciate everyone’s patience as seasonal projects are completed. One thing that has always stood out about Friendly Ridge is that this isn’t just a place where people live, it’s a place where people know one another. Whether it’s waving to someone on your morning walk, checking in on a neighbor, or sharing a conversation at one of our community events, those small moments are what make this neighborhood special. This fall, I encourage everyone to take advantage of the beautiful Pacific Northwest weather before winter settles in. Enjoy a walk, visit with friends, or simply spend a few minutes outside appreciating the season. Sometimes the best part of autumn isn’t the destination, it’s just taking the time to enjoy where you already are. Activities Corner Hello, Neighbors! I would like to take a moment to thank everyone who has helped make our community events so special. Whether you took pictures, helped with setup or cleanup, assisted during an event, or simply pitched in wherever needed, your time and support are truly appreciated. Our events are successful because of the wonderful residents who are always willing to lend a helping hand! If you are considering donating items to the clubhouse, please give me a call first so we can determine whether the items are something we currently need or can accommodate. We have limited storage space, and we want to make the best use of the space we have. Thank you for understanding! I hope everyone has had a wonderful summer filled with sunshine, good times, and plenty of great memories. With fall just around the corner, we have many more activities and events to look forward to! I’m excited to see everyone come together and enjoy another season of fun, friendship, and community.
