• We have also added a larger dumpster located by the shop for your convenience.

• Just a Friendly reminder, all pets must be on leash when outside or confined in your lot. Please do not let your cats or dogs roam the park unattended or you take the risk of them being picked up by animal services.

A Night to Remember: National Night Out Recap

On Tuesday evening August 5th, our community came alive with laughter, conversation, and the spirit of connection during our annual National Night Out celebration! Residents gathered together for an evening filled with great food, friendly faces, and a strong sense of unity.

The event, which is part of a nationwide movement to promote police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie, was a huge success. We were thrilled to welcome members of local law enforcement and community leaders who took the time to mingle, answer questions, and simply enjoy the evening alongside us.

A heartfelt thank you to all the volunteers, first responders, and residents who helped make the evening so memorable. Your energy, kindness, and community pride made all the difference.

Let’s carry that spirit forward—because when we come together, we create not just a safer neighborhood, but a stronger one. Until next year—stay safe, stay connected, and thank you for making this community such a wonderful place to call home!

Broccoli Cheddar Soup

INSTRUCTIONS

INGREDIENTS

• 4 tablespoons unsalted butter

• 1 medium yellow onion, chopped

• ½ teaspoon sea salt

• Freshly ground black pepper

• 3 garlic cloves, chopped

• ¼ cup all-purpose flour

• 2 cups whole milk or unsweetened almond milk

• 2 cups vegetable broth

• 3 cups chopped broccoli florets

• 1 large carrot, julienned or finely chopped

• ½ teaspoon Dijon mustard

• 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese, about 2 heaping cups

• Homemade croutons, for serving, optional

1. Melt the butter in a large pot or Dutch oven over medium heat. Add the onion, salt, and several grinds of pepper and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes, or until softened. Stir in the garlic and cook for another minute, then sprinkle in the flour and whisk continuously for 1 to 2 minutes, or until the flour turns golden. Slowly pour in the milk, whisking continuously.

2. Add the broth, broccoli, carrot, and mustard and stir to combine. Simmer for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender.

3. Gradually add the cheese, stirring after each addition, until all the cheese is melted and the soup is creamy. Season to taste and serve with croutons, if desired.
