FROM YOUR COPY COORDINATOR

I want to start off by explaining the new policies for the newsletter. Copy for the newsletter MUST be to me by the 6th of every month. I need to format the copy and submit the entire newsletter to the printer. They will give us a couple proofs to look over. So, any event or activity after the 10th of the month will be in the following month. For example, St Patrick’s Day dinner pics and story will be in the May newsletter since it occurs after the 10th. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

As you all know, our past newsletter has been put to rest, so the brand-new look newsletter will be in full color on every page. Cobblestone will now be designing, printing, and delivering the newsletter to our park. Volunteer residents will still be delivering it as in the past.

Don’t fret, it is still our newsletter, so I hope I can see more residents take an interest in the park to write short blurbs of interesting news. We are always looking for resident interest stories or news. All residents are welcome to submit any news/stories pertaining to the park.

I hope we go forward and progress as time moves by. Please submit any newsletter copy to Michael at Desertscapenewsletter@yahoo.com with newsletter as the subject line.

April Birthday Bash

This month’s Birthday Bash Dinner will be held on April 26th at 5:30pm at Outback Steakhouse located at 5605 West Bell Road. There is a limit of 25 people. Call Gail to reserve your spot at 602-327-8125.
