A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

So here we have the new newsletter. I’m hoping it turned out as well as we planned. Don’t worry if there are things missing that you’d like to see or there are things in the newsletter you can live without, just let us know. This is your newsletter so it can be whatever we want. Well, within reason of course. Cobblestone would like “Desertscape” in the title to the newsletter, so I guess for now “Desertscape Press” will have to do. This is where you can go to find out what is going on in the park this month, get a recap of what happened last month, and updates from various groups, including Cobblestone, about upcoming projects, and events.

As your incoming President this year, I would like to get the residents more invigorated, involved, and informed about the activities here. I’m still learning how everything works and who makes it happen. One of the first things I noticed as President was the “who makes it happen” is a ridiculously short list, but we’ll address that issue in the coming months. It is probably the biggest issue the Association faces.

So, in the meantime, let us know what activities you’d be interested in or what the Association can do for you, and maybe more importantly, what can you do for the Association? Volunteers are always appreciated. Pickleball? Shuffleboard? Corn Hole? Out of the park trips? Remember the Association meets every third Saturday of the month at 10:00 AM. You are most welcome to come, get free donuts and coffee, and bring up your ideas on what can be done by the Association to make your life more enjoyable here. Be aware the Association is your community association and is not Park Management. If you want to complain about frequent water interruptions or the sewer system, talk to Park Management. Your Association does the fun stuff. Have fun and get involved!
