The site is located in Yannawa District. The residence and commercial zone dominate the neighborhood. Around that area, there are hardly any recreation areas for the locals.
Target Users
With the rise of lacking green space in Bangkok and the climate changes, if people walked barefoot across a sunbaked parking lot, they would feel how concrete soaks up and retains the sun’s heat. When temperatures rise, the countless miles of concrete streets, sidewalks, and roofs in cities create a phenomenon known as urban heat islands.
Lacking things in that area
When considering the programs, I analyze the thing lacking in the area. There is so little recreation space like sports. Half of the people making alive this area are office workers, so giving them a sports clubhouse to relieve their stress is a useful program that can offer to the locals.
Program
Concept – Boundary
The main concept idea comes from how to manage privacy in the given plots. By taking the cut to separate the public and private space, I start to shape the project. Grasshopper is used to limit and decide which angle and position would be the best for the cut as it changes the shapes and heights of the whole area.

Building with the design that has floor area of 51058.847 sq, GFA with 26689.344 sqm for residential and 13495.58 sqm for parking, 3808.35 sqm for vertical farming (private use), 1242.437 sqm for the vertical garden (public use) and 5822.956 sqm for the clubhouse.

- First, setting the limitation of angles to rotate In order to connect the vertical farming not only to get the interesting elevation but also to have the sense of privacy in the balcony areas.
