BUNNINGS FUNDRAISER
During the Labour Day long weekend, a group of dedicated committee members, volunteers and friends helped run this annual event at Bunnings Heatherton.
A hot, windy day saw us cook and serve nearly 40kgs of sausages to the many people who braved the weather, making this a successful fundraiser for TASCA. We answered questions about our work, spread awareness about both Thalassaemia and Sickle Cell Anaemia and had a great time engaging with the broader community.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who gave their time and effort.

WEBSITE UPDATE
For the past few months we have worked with BlueShield Technologies on a revamped and updated website. I am excited to announce that our new website will be completed in the next few weeks, so please ensure you follow us on our social media for news and the launch.
We will continue to develop the functionality of our site in order to keep everyone updated and informed about our work, projects and events. Thank you to the team at BlueShield Technologies for their support, patience and diligence in helping us with this project.
KIWANIS PROJECT
Last week we met with Ian Randall, Governor of Kiwanis Australia and Angela Randall, President of Kiwanis Club Moorabbin.
Kiwanis Clubs organisations raise funds for programs focused on enhancing the health and well-being of children in the community. TASCA has had a long association with Kiwanis and our focus at this meeting was to explore ways in which we can partner to provide some exciting opportunities for our young patients and their families.
Please stay tuned for more information on our social media, our Facebook Patient Support Group page and our website.
