Zone Fam is the current premiere hip hop group in Zambia. Deriving their name from a studio hit. Roberto entered the music scene as a rapper, and later turned singer a�er being inspired by Usher’s hit song “My Way”. On his rise in the music industry and a spell in South Africa, Roberto’s career was propelled to the next level when he wrote songs for and worked with well�known South African ar�sts, such as Boom Shaka, Thebe and Buso, just to name a few. To-Date Ruff Kid has had the privilege of performing in Namibia, Malawi, South Africa and several other African countries. He has a CV filled with collaborations with various well known Zambian artists and is now crossing borders with collaborations with artists on the international scene ranging from South Africa to Nigeria to the UK. Currently signed to Effycom Productions in the UK under management, Ruff Kid is working on a compilation album for his greatest hits which will be followed by his fourth album. With a newly found international platform, he has embarked on a journey that will take his his music to the masses worldwide.
