Surgeries Dr. Khetpal performs surgery at Texoma Medical Center. Our operating room is capable of providing a full range of ophthalmic surgery including cataract extraction, pars plana vitrectomy, scleral buckle and laser surgeries. TMC is the only hospital in this area capable of providing these surgeries to Grayson county and surrounding county residents. Surgeries can be performed under local or general anesthesia as needed for our patients. Our operating room has trained ophthalmology nursing staff on call and can perform after hours emergency surgeries.

At our facility we provide our patients with state-of-art testing and treatment while serving their needs and working in partnership with them and their team of healthcare providers to ultimately deliver comprehensive and compassionate care.

Dr. Vijay Khetpal is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is licensed in both Texas and Oklahoma. He is also fellowship trained in both retinal and vitreal diseases. The testing and laser procedures Dr. Khetpal preforms are done in office to minimize the amount of travel and number of visits patients must undergo.

The surgeries that Dr. Khetpal preforms are done at the Texoma Medical Center in Dension, Texas, next door to the ophthalmology office. These procedures are completed as out-patient procedures to minimize the time patients must spend in the hospital.
