Nebraska Texas Longhorn Association 35th Annual Sale Broken Bow Livestock Auction, Broken Bow, NE Auctioneer-Bill Sayre, Brookfield, MO Sale Coordinators – Rodger & Bonnie Damrow, Roca, NE Results Submitted by Bonnie Damrow The N.T.L.A. sale crowd arrived in Broken Bow just in time to enjoy the much needed rain-well over 2” by the end of the day on April 16th. This was our 3rd annual spring sale here in Broken Bow. Friday night a nice crowd gathered for food, drinks, reminiscing, and relaxation at the Broken Bow Country Club. We enjoyed Eileen’s cooking & cake balls for dessert. Saturday morning started off with a silent auction just before the sale-an N.T.L.A. longtime tradition. We look forward to homemade breads and longhorn treasurers. The N.T.L.B.T. (Nebraska Texas Longhorn Breeders of Tomorrow) had fun selling raffle tickets throughout the day. 25% of the proceeds will be going to the youth fund. 1st place is a heifer calf & bull calf donated by Anders Longhorns, Crawford, NE. & Damrow Longhorns, Roca, NE. Drawing will be held at the Nebraska State Fair WQ Shows in August. Bidders came from Nebraska, South Dakota, Missouri, Kansas, Iowa, & Texas. We were glad to have our sale on cattleusa again this year for our customers use. We are so thankful for all the individuals that made this sale possible. A huge thank you to everyone for helping out! Thank you to all the consignors, buyers, bidders, members, & auctioneer for making this sale possible. It was really great to see so many new buyers this year. We are looking forward to the 36th sale next spring.
