riday, October 25th cattle arrived safely and in good time before the gathering at Risky’s. A nice crowd joined together for drinks, dinner & fellowship. After Friday’s chilly day, Saturday turned out to be a very pleasant day for a sale at the Beatrice77 Livestock Auction. It was the NTLA’s 32nd annual fall sale. It was viewed online at beatrice77.net. Awards given to Champions were prorated by the # consigned. Consignors of Champion Senior Cow, Heifer & Bull each received $500 & Junior Cow received $250. The Governor’s Proclamation was read as this was the last day of Texas Longhorn Week in Nebraska. The auction started off with a sale of $300 for Bonnie’s Cake Balls bought by Bill Smith, Marshall, MO with the money going to the Ranchers Relief Fund, Chadron, NE. Thank you to Bill for your generous donation. Hope you enjoyed the cake balls! Dick Robbins/Anchor D Ranch has donated 10% of his sales to the Ranchers Relief Fund, SD/NE. Thank you Dick. Raffle tickets were drawn at the end of the catalog sale.
