WAIKIRIKIRI PARK MURAL PROJECT
The Waikirikiri Park Mural Project is a chance to bring bold colours and stories to life and amplify the voices of our community. Renowned mural artists Taupuruariki Whakataka-Brightwell and Chevron Hassett will create new murals as part of a Kaupapa to activate our community spaces through the arts. These artists will work across July 7-15 to bring new stories to life in the park. Tamariki and rangatahi are especially welcome to come watch and learn as the artists leave a lasting mark on the space. Nau mai! Come and watch some magic unfold!
