JOHN CAPRA ‘14

Attended Eastern Florida State where he played baseball. He later signed with Florida A & M to continue his college baseball career. John is a CPA.

NICK CAPRA ‘13

Played baseball at Eastern Florida State College (EFSC) as a walk-on. After playing well in the fall, he earned a scholarship and played all around the field. His sophomore year, he played third base with his brothers as shortstop and at second. After graduating from EFSC with an Associate of Arts, Nick went on to play at High Point University and moved back home to finish his senior year at Florida Tech with a .355 batting average. Upon graduation, he began working for Liberty IT Solutions, a government contractor for the VA, as a Salesforce Solutions Engineer. He’s been there for three years working to improve veterans’ lives through the applications they create.

VINNY CAPRA ‘14

Signed with Eastern Florida State College to continue his education and play baseball at the next level. He went on to play at the University of Richmond. On April 29, 2022, Vinny was called up to the Toronto Blue Jays from the Buffalo Triple-A baseball franchise.

ALEX CARPENTER ‘15

Currently in his final year at Florida Tech playing baseball. Alex graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology from Florida Tech. He is presently in the MBA program and working as an intern with Morgan Stanley.

KEATON CEDERSTROM ‘15

Attended Florida State University (FSU) and played on the FSU Club Baseball team that made back-to-back appearances in the Club Baseball World Series in 2018 and 2019. Keaton transferred to North Dakota State University (NDSU) in 2019. He worked in the athletic department booster program with the NDSU Team Makers and graduated in 2020. At present, he is at Minot State University working in the Athletic Marketing and Fan Engagement department and will graduate with a master’s degree in sports management in December 2022.

WILL ERDMAN ‘16

Graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor’s in consumer economics. Will played football for the Bulldogs under Kirby Smart from May 2016 through January 2020. He continued his football career while earning a certificate in entrepreneurship and innovation from Temple University. Currently he lives in Brevard County working with the family business, Erdman Motors Organization.

Attended Florida State University and is now running several Marco’s pizza restaurants throughout the South.

COLMAN LAROCHE ‘16

Played baseball for McKendree University from 2016-2017. Colman transferred to Indian River State College and played there from 2017-2018 and earned his Associate of Arts. During that time, he had shoulder surgery. In 2020, he graduated from Florida State University with his bachelor’s in political science and public administration. He is presently a sales and leasing representative at Mike Erdman Nissan.

CAMERON LIERMAN ‘13

Graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Applied and Computational Mathematics from Florida State University. Cameron is currently pursuing a master’s in business analytics from the College of William & Mary. He lives in Washington DC working as a data analyst in the marketing department at GEICO. He is an avid golfer in the summer, snowboarder in the winter and enjoys going to all the games DC sports has to offer especially hockey and baseball. He is dating Sydney Richards, who is pursuing a master’s in genetic counseling.

TREVOR MILLS ‘16

Graduated from Cornell University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in communication, focusing on technology. After graduation, he worked for a biotechnology startup and shortly thereafter worked at a civil litigation law firm. He is currently a Juris Doctor Candidate at Northeastern University School of Law in Boston, MA. Trevor anticipates graduating in 2024 and plans to pursue the practice area of technology transactions or data privacy/cybersecurity at a large law firm.

AUSTIN NICKLE ‘16

Played junior college baseball for two years at Daytona State and the College of Central Florida, before completing his degree at Florida State University. The last few years have provided Austin with great opportunities in the form of a good job, an amazing relationship, and the ability to pass on his love for the game of baseball to the next generation. For the last two seasons, he has been assisting Coach Dooley with the Hustlers, teaching and learning every single day. He is currently working on a certificate program that he plans to complete by the end of this year.

AUSTIN PERLMAN ‘15

Graduated from Stetson University with a bachelor’s in health science in 2019. Austin played five years of football there as a wide receiver and special teams’ player. He was honored as team captain his last two years. He currently works for Stryker, a medical technology company and recently moved to Parker, Colorado with his college girlfriend and their two dogs. They just started fostering dogs until they can find them a new home. Austin is enjoying exploring the beautiful outdoors of Colorado.

MARK POTTER ‘16

Attended Jacksonville University on a baseball scholarship. He transferred to the College of Central Florida in Ocala and was drafted by Philadelphia Phillies.

KENNY RHODES ’14

Attended Florida Gulf Coast University after graduating from MCC and is working in the Midwest.

MIKE RIDYARD ‘16

After graduating from MCC, Mike moved to Texas and attended Texas Christian University in Fort Worth. He is currently living in Minot, North Dakota with former MCC teammate, Keaton Cederstrom, and finishing his bachelor’s degree at Minot State University.

KEVIN SILVA ‘16

Graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in finance. Kevin currently is a senior associate in the finance department at L3 Harris.

AUSTIN SMITH ‘13

Played baseball for Florida Southern College and graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training. Since 2019, Austin has been an athletic trainer in the Houston Astros organization.

CHRISTIAN VARGAS ‘14

Attended Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island on an academic scholarship continuing to play four more years of baseball. During that time, he accumulated some notable personal accolades such as two-time captain, threetime All- Conference, 2nd – team AllRegional (New England), and Student Athlete of the Year for the university in 2017. The team set school records for the baseball program winning two conference championships. He graduated the fall semester of senior year and pursued his MBA in entrepreneurship the following semester to finish his baseball career. While in college he met his fiancé Kaitlynn and they plan to marry in 2024. After graduating in 2018, he enlisted in the Army to become a logistics officer. Christian currently serves in the U.S. Army Reserve as a 1st Lieutenant (soon to be Captain in July) and Executive Officer to a Drill Sergeant unit in West Palm Beach. Also, he works as a project engineer in construction management.
