WE’VE DEVELOPED A SPECIALTY FOR SERVING NATIONAL BRANDS We create dynamic environments for customers and employees. T/E/S Engineering helps retail clients improve profitability. Our team responds quickly to the changes and challenges of retail design. We specialize in nationwide, large-scale projects for demanding retailers, restaurateurs and developers.
SUCCESS WITH NATIONAL BRANDS ATTENTION TO DETAIL A NATIONAL RETAILER’S LIGHTING DESIGN did not address code light density limitations. By using photometrics and fixture specifications, our engineers updated the client’s conceptual lighting design to provide higher levels of usable light and meet energy code requirements for a reduced cost.
SOLVING PROBLEMS TO RESOLVE A CONFLICT BETWEEN A RETAILER AND A LANDLORD, T/E/S Engineering investigated the cause of streaked ceilings at the client’s stores. We determined the cause was product off-gasing, not dirty air coming from the landlord’s central plant, as originally thought. Mattress Firm implemented a corporate-wide decision to paint the ceilings black at all stores, improving aesthetics.
EMBRACING CHANGE WHILE WORKING ON JCPENNEY’S REBRANDING INITIATIVE, T/E/S Engineering achieved success by closely working with project design teams to coordinate a huge number of fast-paced, large-scope projects.
SEEING THE UNSEEN TO ADDRESS A COMFORT COMPLAINT FROM A CLIENT, T/E/S Engineering conducted a study that revealed the cause of the problem was 75% of return air openings being eliminated during a previous remodel. Our engineers helped resolve the complaint by reinstalling the return grilles - spending no money to replace or add equipment.

PROTOTYPES T/E/S CAN HELP YOU REINVENT THE WHEEL. IN OUR PROTOTYPE PROCESS, we not only engineer the systems, but we also develop a “how-to-guide” on building your store. Taking into account how systems interact with locations and conditions, including varying utility services, our drawings include notes on options and custom configuration. We think ahead to the challenges that you will face in retail spaces across the United States. From renovations and remodels to new construction, T/E/S provides the scalable design that gets your store where it needs to be.
Prototypes ensure that you get a build-out that meets your standards every time. We create a model for repeated constancy in construction, and that means higher quality and higher value. APPLE
