For the July 2020 Intracoastal Living, I wrote about the noteworthy four-generation birthday streak of Wrightsville Beach's Williams family. With his July 4, 1982 Ralph Bertram "Tram" Williams IV became the fourth generation of Wiliams men to share a July 4 birthday. For the story, I interviewed Tram and his father Ralph Bertram "Bert" Williams III about their remarkable family lineage, which is recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as one of only six families in the world to have four consecutive generations share the same birthday.
