Welcome to the fall edition of Terrie Magazine, highlighting the incredible advancements, innovations and successes the real estate industry and Terrie O’Connor Realtors achieved amidst uncertainty and crisis in America. As we emerge from the pandemic, we celebrate a sense of freedom and a return to normalcy, while continuing to honor the memories of those we lost to COVID-19.

As communities are vaccinated and social distancing requirements and mask mandates are lifted, people are enjoying a renewed sense of freedom--freedom to gather together with friends, to celebrate monumental occasions, to hug loved ones again and to travel beyond state borders. This year, Terrie O’Connor Realtors celebrated its award-winning agents with an evening by the lake. The Summer picnic and Concert provided a welcome opportunity to reconnect with more than 420 sales associates and 40 employees who work among our eight Terrie O’Connor Realtors branch offices.

As our world returns to “normal,” we reject upon how the pandemic has reshaped lives, work, school and even the definition of home. There is a renewed optimism that is driving consumer behavior, industry growth and commercial development throughout the Garden State and New York. In this issue, academics, economists and developers examine the impact of the pandemic on the real estate industry and provide thoughtful insight into what’s to come for the second half of 2021 and beyond.
