The Grace Foundation

In 2019, Terrie O’Connor Realtors launched the Grace Foundation to give their agents an outlet to better serve their local communities. A family name, Grace is Terrie’s maiden name, as well as the first name of several relatives, including her grand daughter. The foundation provides financial, educational, and manpower support and encouragement to local families, individuals, and organizations in need. While efforts to fundraise were affected by COVID, the foundation was still able to mobilize resources to assist several organizations. Last year, the Grace Foundation made several donations to local food pantries including the Center for Food Action, St. Peter’s Haven, and the Kinnelon Food Pantry. The company held multiple food drives throughout the year to support local food pantries and collected children’s pajamas and toys for Oasis, a Haven for Women and Children in Paterson. Additional donations were made in memory of Thomas O’Connor, who lost his life to COVID last year, to Holy Name Medical Center for Villa Marie Claire, Upper Saddle River Cares, Northern Highlands Sports Association, First Team Robotics, and The City of Chicopee, Council on Aging. To raise funds in 2020, the Grace Foundation sold Terrie O’Connor Realtors branded face masks and is in the process of creating a cookbook to raise money in 2021. The foundation looks forward to scheduling their golf outing and other live fundraising events later in the year.
