Anti-termite Reticulation System
Frequently Asked Question:
Will Reticulation Pipes get blocked in few years?
Will the pipes block, bend, squeeze or erode in 3-4 years?
Block
Bend
Such a doubts lead to a perception that the system will not work in the long run and hence there is no point in installing this system
• Compared to the west, this system is relatively new to India. It was introduced in India about 20/22 years ago
• In India, the practice was to install any irrigation or plastic pipe. Those are made for use above ground and not suitable for underground reticulation purpose
• Those pipes do not have the weight bearing capacity, hence should never be used in anti-termite reticulation
• Those pipes are narrow and have thin walls, hence are not suitable for underground installation. Such pipes get squeezed under weight or at corners during installation
• Reticulation Pipes should be made of sturdy raw material, should have good thickness with appropriate design for termiticide injection and should be long-lasting

• TermiPore, in use since almost 17 years; has conducted intensive research in this filed.
• It is made of specially developed elastomeric raw material compound. Their raw material is best suited for underground installation
• TermiPore Facts: It does not crack, disintegrate or erode,
• Does not Bend, Squeeze, Block
• It is ling lasting with a life of 50 years or more
Old pipe (Any other pipe)
• The pipe design was not appropriate
TermiPore Pipe
• TermiPore has specially developed a honeycomb design
• There were holes on one side of the pipe
• Holes were at a distance of 1 feet
• Pressure operated holes all along the length and all along the circumference of the pipe
• Even if one hole got blocked, the medicine would not reach an area of 2 feet
• There are about a 100 microholes in one feet
• TermiPore design enables consistent flow rate, underground, for 50+ years
Earlier, when the system was new, awareness on how to install was low. If the installation is not done properly, there is a chance of squeezing or blocking of pipes
Installation is very easy! Just remember::
1. The pipes should not be in direct touch with wet cement. Install it on sand and cover it with sand
2. Do not bend it at sharp corners. Install it with a slight curve or use jointers and ties
3. Install junction boxes at required intervals (we suggest 1 junction box at every 25mtrs )
4. View installation videos on our website, social media handles or YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iakUX_rRfp4&t=1s
5. TermiPore also offers technical guidance and training for installation of TermiPore Reticulation Pipes
This is a one-time installation only and quality is of utmost importance
• TermiPore is manufactured by a company that is more than 50 years old and it has ISO 9001: 2015 Certification
• Brand TermiPore, in use since more than 15 years, assures best quality, consistently
• We have a stringent quality control system in place
• Every roll of TermiPore is checked for 9 quality parameters and the flow rate is mentioned on each roll
