We collaborated with artist, Kasing Jiang to tell the story of Labubu. We focused on the identity of the character itself and the idea of family & friends having fun with skateboarding.


Labubu is an iconic figure in The Monster’s family. She is one the elves that live forest. She likes to play and travel through the forest with her friends and family.

With Vans & Disney, Mickey takes us on a ride back to 1966, which is the starting year of Vans. That year, Donald Duck and Tigger from Winnie the Pooh films were released. We take these iconic characters to celebrate Disney 100. Using ragged denim, distressed prints and checkerboard patterns to bring back the vintage vibes of the 90’s.





















































Inspired by the retro video games that were once popular back in the 90’s, in the streets of Hong Kong, we focused on the idea of “pixels” from the old games and combined it with Bohemian style artworks to enhanced that retro vibe.






Focused on the idea of finding “a peace of mind” in nature during Fall, we used elements from nature and laser etched it on to suede to preserve the peaceful memories from Fall.






Worked with young local Gen Z artists, NUTTSH, OKEH and RUN in transferring their unique artworks onto Vans products. Based on each of the artists’ style, we expanded on their stories and attitudes through Vans.







While working on the collaboration with the partner, it was during the time of the covid-19 situations. In hopes for the better, we extended Liberaiders’ “cranes” art into the designs to send messages of hope and peace to the world. The colors are inspired by the places travelled by the founder, Mei Yong, in the States during the 90’s to reminiscent of the simple and nice days.






Welcoming the year of the rabbits, we worked with the local illustrator, Lin, on her iconic IPs of Miro & Wujo to create a “good fortune” rabbit pack for the CNY season. Winterized materials and rabbit-inspired details were combined with Vans iconic checkerboard patterns to tell the story.







Inspired by street-car culture of the young generations in Korea, we captured the idea of fun street art onto Vans products, focusing on the ideas of customizing art on the streets and cars. Traditional modular patches on Velcros and duck tape art in digital prints were the highlights.





We selected the Vans’ bolts models that carry the iconic thunder lightnings on the sidewall of the shoe and combined them with Aape’s camouflage pattern to create a strong street look for the Gen Zs. Earthy color tones and cold grey tones capture both the retro and the virtual vibes within the collection.






It is a collection of saturated monotones with subtle deboss executions on soft nubuck to grasp that premium sophisticated look.






For spring and summer, we designed to capture the hearts of teens with “cute” elements that we see around us everyday. Cute elements like doodled flowers, pets, fruits and smiley faces are combined with Vans standard checkerboard in contrasty coloways.








Deux was a hip-hop band group from Korea in the 90’s. The group was founded in 1993. By Kim Sung Jae and Lee Hyun Do. But, the group was disbanded after two-years in early 1995 with the death of Kim Sung Jae. Although the band lasted only for two years, but its musical achievements have greatly influenced the entire Korean hip-hop culture.
Therefore, we designed the collaboration in black and white colors with Deux iconic logos and slogans to pay tribute to the band group for the Korea markets.






In this collaboration, we absorbed the essence of skateboarding, art and music in the streets of California. Therefore, we have chosen the old school “paisley” cashew patterns as the main design element with the frayed edges to recall the love for America’s street culture.






OSCAR, the grumpiest character from Sesame Street, is the highlight of this collaboration. In the collaboration, we used fur-like material with brushed black treatment on the overall upper and sidewall of the shoe to well-define and depict OSCAR’s image.







The collaboration surrounds the idea of “the joy in playing board games,” emphasizing on the checkerboards in lines with DOE’s logo.

Humidifier creates a wonderfully soothing atmosphere with a soft comfy color and a calming stream of mist.
Inspired by the lighthouse, Humidifier symbolizes as a “Night Guardian” to bring security to the sleeper at night.

The style of the gaming controllers are inspired by spaceship. Contrast of materials and colors are significantly applied. The speckled detail is a representation of stars reflecting onto a spaceship.
