As the biggest plants on the planet, they give us oxygen, store carbon, and give life to the worlds wildlife. Trees can also combat drought and possible desertification that is being caused by climate change.

As part of the Bonn Challenge, Kenya is aiming to plant 5.1 Million hectares of degraded land, nearly 9 percent of it’s total landmass - and the official replanting policy recognizes the importance of planting indigeneous trees.

To this endeavour, Shop Nanjala goal is to avail a portfolio of Kenyan indigeneous and exotic tree seedlings; so that when planted, Kenyans can take a long term view and plant trees for their grandchildren - leaving a valuable legacy.
