Tempora nasce nel 1967 ad opera di Giuseppe Maroso, che ha trasmesso ai propri figli l’arte e la passione della falegnameria d’altissimo livello. Attraverso l’abilità, l’esperienza artigianale, il costante adeguamento tecnologico e l’evoluzione del gusto progettuale, l’Azienda è giunta ad interpretare e realizzare con grande sensibilità i desideri degli architetti e le aspettative dei privati. Da lui passano tutti gli aspetti tecnici, viste le competenze che vanno dall'informatica al 3D simulativo, dalla falegnameria alle macchine a controllo numerico. Se il team è un insieme di ingranaggi, Fortunato ne è il lubrificante.

È il maestro delle finiture, l'alchimista pronto a rendere ogni superficie speciale ed impeccabile. È in possesso di un libro magico pieno di formule per darvi il colori che volete. Il suo preferito è però il rosso, rosso Ducati.

È il primo contatto che avete con l'azienda,sempre gentile e disponibile; con lui definirete gli aspetti di fattibilità e darete corpo ai vostri progetti.

Sarà ancora lui a fornirvi un preventivo dettagliato completo delle tempistiche di consegna.

Ha grandi competenze tecniche ed una invidiabile abilità di leadership. Il controllo della qualità è il suo habitat; alcuni ritengono abbia una speciale "calamita" per trovare le anomalie dei prodotti.

La finitura e la verniciatura completano la forma del vostro progetto attribuendone colore e lucentezza; rendendolo "tattile" e preservandolo nel tempo.

Con noi ogni realizzazione viene montata due volte: una prima volta in azienda per risolvere in anticipo eventuali problematiche; ed una seconda in cantiere.

Ma in cantiere deve filare tutto liscio!

Per evitare le insoddisfazioni sulla qualità delle produzioni abbiamo adottato uno scrupoloso processo di controllo che mira ad eliminarne tutte le cause alla radice.

Se non lo trovate dedito al suo lavoro sarà senz'altro sulle rive del fiume Po' impegnato nella cattura del pesce siluro.

Nulla gli sfugge. Prima di ogni spedizione verifica personalmente sempre due volte che tutto sia in ordine e che non manchi nulla. Non osate disturbarlo mentre verifica la packing list...

Roberta è severissima e pretende che tutte le procedure siano eseguite alla lettera.

Guai a dimenticare di riconsegnarle il rapportino di lavoro di fine giornata!

He is a carpenter of tradition, refined and meticulous. He loves his job as much as he loves fishing. If you do not find him devoted to his work, he will certainly be on the banks of the Po river catching catfish.

Nothing passes by him unnoticed. Before each shipment he always personally checks twice that everything is in order and that nothing is missing.

He is a discreet person who is there without revealing himself.

This equilibrium of his allows him to tackle and solve the critical issues of the assemblies at the work site with pragmatism and flexibility. He has a great passion for many different trucks. Give him a nice truck and he would personally make a delivery to the ends of the earth.

Roberta is very severe and demands that all procedures be followed to the letter. It is fatal to forget to deliver the end-of-day work report to her!

ello show room sono allestiti alcuni ambienti che offrono un piccolo saggio delle nostre capacità tecniche. In queste pagine il tema dell'ufficio viene proposto in tre oggetti: un tavolo riunioni con il suo lampadario e delle cassettiere. Tutto segue una connotazione stilistica unitaria ed è espressione di falegnameria d'eccellenza rivolta all'office 1) Lampadario di design a dieci luci in legno "elefante" con coppe in cristallo, luci alogene verso il soffitto, a led sul piano. 2) Tavolo in legno "elefante" completamente elettrificato, inserti in laccato nero e top in pelle. 3) Cassettiere su ruote.

Some settings are on display in the show room that offer a proof of our technical capabilities. On these pages the office theme is proposed in three objects: a conference table with its chandelier and some drawer units. Everything follows a unified stylistic connotation and is an expression of carpentry of excellence dedicated to the office 1) 10-light design chandelier in "elephant" wood with crystal goblets, halogen lights projected toward the ceiling, LED lights shining onto the table top. 2) Totally electrified "elephant" wood table, black lacquered inserts and leather top.

Let's take a normal work procedure in which there is a designer who comes to us asking for a quote for executing his project. He has his own drawings and simulations which are already in themselves the result of what the customer wants. Aware of this, after we listen to the designer and place our expertise at his disposal, we will together select the best suited materials, colours and finishes. This delicate phase is always supported by the preparation of specimens that represent the most significant parts of the project and help us prefigure the completed work. These specimens will be evaluated and modified if necessary until full approval is obtained from the designer and customer.

Il rilievo millimetrico degli ambienti, compresa la misurazione delle parti impiantistiche, costituisce la base di un buon lavoro. Questa è proprio la nostra partenza ma anche il nostro punto di arrivo. È proprio qui che i nostri prodotti dovranno arrivare e tutto dovrà combaciare perfettamente. La creazione di un prototipo virtuale tridimensionale di tipo parametrico ci permetterà di sviluppare il progetto e di operare in modo produttivo e innovativo, individuando e risolvendo le eventuali criticità anche connesse agli aspetti impiantistici (illuminotecnica, idraulica, climatizzazione ecc.).

The millimetric measurements of the rooms, including the measurement of system components, forms the basis of a good job. This is precisely our starting point, but it is also our finish line.

We have reached the most sensitive execution phase: the parametric CAD drawings become overall working drawings (1-2) and drawings of single parts (3), and all of the pieces go to be cut (4). Then the pre-assembly step (5) begins, which is full assembly of all the furniture down to the tiniest detail before moving on to the finishing steps (painting, leather coverings, upholstery, etc.).

The materials picking list (1) provides the full picture of the components of a job: the codes, finishes and technical specifications, that they make up the DNA of your project.

Drawn up first in a simulated form and then in final form, it makes procurement of the components possible, even in the after-sales stage. We love precision in making deliveries as well. Each package bears the stamping (2) with the component drawing, the numerical reference to the overall project and the place of destination in a room with location plan, e.g. a kitchen, bedroom, hallway, etc.

A small gem, a warm and welcoming project

uesta realizzazione residenziale moscovita è un mirabile esempio di un progetto che nelle sue dimensioni contenute riservava svariate difficoltà tecniche ed esecutive. A cominciare dall'armadio guardaroba dell'entrata, un oggetto di design che caratterizza l'ambiente, realizzato con doghe sagomate, profilate una ad una per generare l'effetto sinuoso delle onde. La finitura, in questo caso, è laccato bianco opaco.

This residential execution in Moscow is a wonderful example of a project that in its limited size held several technical and execution difficulties in store. Starting with the entrance wardrobe, a design object that characterises the space, made with shaped staves, profiled one by one to create the sinuous effect of waves. In this case, the finish is matt white lacquering.

Il salotto studio in laccato giallo lucido evidenzia le piacevoli ante stondate ed il gioco di mensole, tutte elettrificate, con faretti alogeni applicati. L'isola della cucina si snoda poggiandosi sulla bottiglieria realizzata in falegnameria e successivamente rivestita in mattoncini di gesso, uno stile "Loft" riuscitissimo. Bagno con mobile laccato lucido e maniglie in acciaio, il top è in legno di teak. Il progettista gradiva la tinta naturale di questa essenza, per questo è stato semplicemente trattato ad olio.

The living room/study in lacquered glossy yellow highlights the nice rounded panels and layout of shelves, all electrically connected, with halogen spotlights applied.

The kitchen island winds to then rest against the wine wall made in carpentry and later covered with small bricks of chalk, a very successful style "Loft". Bathroom with glossy lacquered furniture and steel handles. The top is made of teak wood. The designer wanted the natural colour of this wood, so this is why it was simply treated with oil.

La camera matrimoniale presenta una grande volta stondata laccata lucida chiusa fra due colonne in ebano con mensole in cristallo e comodini dotati di due cassetti push-pull. Il giroletto, imbottito in pelle avorio chiaro, è perimetrato da luci led posizionate sottoscocca.

Di fronte al letto, una grande cornice nera laccata delimita uno specchio spia dietro al quale è alloggiato il televisore. Una toilette a "fagiolo" sagomata in laccato lucido completa l'allestimento di questo ambiente nel quale ogni elemento non è mai scontato.

The master bedroom has a large rounded glossy lacquered vault enclosed between two columns in ebony with glass shelves and bedside tables with two push-pull drawers. The bed frame, upholstered in pale ivory leather, is bounded by LED lights positioned underbody. Opposite the bed, a large lacquered black frame defines a one-way mirror behind which the TV is housed. A shaped glossy lacquered "bean" dressing table completes the set-up of this room in which every element is never taken for granted.

Ero timorosa perchè il progetto, nonostante le dimensioni non esagerate, presentava delle complessità notevoli. Tempora si è rivelato eccezionale, sono riusciti a fare quello che volevo.

In my project I have expressed a concept of cosy home with a personal design made of flowing lines, no corners, elongated and floating shapes. I was afraid because the project, despite its non-exaggerated size, was considerably complex. Tempora turned out to be amazing. They managed to do what I wanted.

i è stata richiesta una preventivazione sulla base di alcuni rendering e di linee guida estetiche. Abbiamo realizzato dei campioni, approvati dal progettista, e valutata attentamente la commessa in ogni dettaglio. Abbiamo individuato subito le criticità che consistevano soprattutto negli aspetti statici dell'opera. Bisognava realizzare la parte della scala completamente autoportante, mentre la balaustra si sarebbe agganciata perfettamente al solaio esistente insieme al controsoffitto.

We were asked to provide an estimate based on some renderings and aesthetic guidelines. We made the specimens, approved by the designer, and carefully evaluated the job in every single detail. We immediately identified the critical issues that mainly consisted of the static aspects of the work. We had to make the stair completely self-supporting, while the banister would be perfectly hooked to the existing floor along with the false ceiling.

09 Il rilievo dello stato di fatto in cantiere è stato scrupolosissimo. Si trattava inoltre di forme curve molto complesse: la parte autoportante della scala doveva combaciare, non solo con la balaustra, ma anche con il controsoffitto sottostante. L'incontro dei raccordi sagomati era a tolleranza zero e non ci si poteva concedere il minimo errore. Per questo, com'è prassi per qualsiasi altro lavoro, abbiamo premontato tutte le strutture, calibrato perfettamente tutti i componenti, comprese le boiserie e le finte travi a copertura dei canali d'aria.

The current conditions of the work site, which we studied down to the last millimetre.

The survey of the current conditions at the work site was scrupulous. They were also very complex curves: the self-supporting part of the stair had to match not only with the banister, but also the false ceiling underneath. The joining of the shaped fittings was with zero tolerance, without possibility for error. This is why, as is the usual procedure for any other work, we assembled all the structures, perfectly calibrated all the components, including the wood panelling and false beams covering the air ducts.

In un lavoro come questo sono diversi i fattori che concorrono al successo: riuscire ad avere un preventivo corretto; trovare la sapienza tecnica nello studio e nelle proposte dei materiali; trovare l'esperienza che permette di risolvere a monte i problemi per non finire poi in cantiere ad improvvisare; riuscire ad avere maestranze preparate, siano esse ingegneri, tecnici, falegnami o montatori. Per questo ho scelto una organizzazione come Tempora.

Il campione in questa pagina si riferisce ad una commessa in Oman acquisita da Tempora proprio per aver "centrato" il campione. La committenza aveva fornito a diverse società europee un campione chiedendone una riproduzione il più fedele possibile. Con prove su prove e la sapienza delle tecniche di laccatura, argentatura e le abilità manuali siamo riusciti a centrare la richiesta, primi fra tutti, con un campione di rara bellezza che aveva in sè la discreta lucentezza e la patina antica desiderata.

L'integrazione di questa lavorazione con superfici a specchio è stato l'inizio di una importante realizzazione.

Listening to the client and being able to better understand and interpret its requests. The specimen on this page refers to a contract that Tempora acquired in Oman thanks to its ability to understand the specimen. The client provided several European companies with a specimen and requested a faithful as possible reproduction. After many tests and thanks to the wisdom of the lacquering and silver plating techniques as well as manual skills, we managed to hit the target, primarily, with a specimen of rare beauty that had the desired sheen and antique looking patina. The integration of this work with mirror surfaces was the beginning of a major achievement.

ppartamento altamente rappresentativo nella grande capitale. Ogni elemento, dalla scelta dei materiali alle particolarità del design, comunica rigore nelle forme ed opulenza nel pregio dei materiali. Si sono usati l'ebano, il ciliegio termocotto e l'alcantara. Il design di matrice italiana è ben riconoscibile e costituisce il filo conduttore omogeneo di tutta la residenza, la quale occupa una superficie molto estesa. Sezioni molto impegnative e particolari d'alta falegnameria per boiserie, porte, porte scorrevoli, librerie, armadiature, mobili su misura e bagni: un bel banco di prova per il nostro team, un motivo di orgoglio nel farvelo apprezzare.

An extremely representative apartment in the great capital.

Each element, from the selection of materials to the unique design conveys the severity of the shapes and the opulence in the quality of materials. Ebony, heat-treated cherry and Alcantara were used. The Italian design is evident and is the homogeneous backbone throughout the residence, which has a vast surface. Very elaborate and unique sections of high-quality woodworking for panelling, doors, sliding doors, bookcases, cabinets, custom furniture and bathrooms. This contract was a testing ground for our team and something of which we are proud to show you.

12 La coerenza stilistica si ritrova in ogni ambiente, un "filo di Arianna" che conduce l'ospite in ogni luogo e lo fa sentire al centro dell'attenzione. Come nel corridoio Hollywoodiano, ad esempio, nel quale l'elegante boiserie chiara in alcantara segue il passaggio della persona segnandone il passo a terra e accendendo, come in un percorso magico, i pilastri. Tempora ha curato, per questo arredo, tutti gli aspetti impiantistici illuminotecnici.

The stylistic consistency is evident in every room; a "guiding light" leads the guest everywhere and makes him feel at the centre of attention. Just like in the Hollywood hallway in which the soft and elegant Alcantara panelling follows the movement of the person and marks his pace on the ground by turning on the pillars as if he was on a magic path. For this project, Tempora looked after all the light instalments.

12 Ancora una volta si tratta di creare il migliore accordo fra il mobile e chi lo vive ideando un insieme armonico con tante funzionalitĂ di tipo tecnologico. Le cabine illuminate a led con accensione ad apertura, i vellutati sistemi push-pull, le soffici imbottiture e la scelta dei dipositivi illuminanti piĂš idonei sono la prova tangibile dell'elevato livello di comfort delle nostre realizzazioni.

Once again it was a question of creating the best agreement between the furniture and those who experience it by designing a harmonious whole with many technological features. In the sleeping area, the two children's' bedrooms, defined as "twins" since they are perfectly symmetrical, have wardrobes with leather covering both externally and internally. La sensibilità nella scelta e nell'accostamento dei legni più idonei, il valore aggiunto dato dal lavoro manuale esperto sono percepibili in ogni singolo componente. Anche le parti in acciaio, come ad esempio le maniglie dei comodini, sono costruite su disegno esclusivo per questa realizzazione e non saranno mai replicate.

I have worked with Tempora since 2008 and have an established relationship with the company. I deal with highstandard construction. I was looking for something that could add even more value to my houses, and that would make them the home more attractive on the fierce housing market. They now understand me on the fly, I give them a starting point, I start with a style concept and they develop the entire environment for me. The residences that I am able to deliver are truly a point of arrival and satisfy a clientèle that is demanding from all points of view. I need not worry about anything, Tempora provides me with turnkey solutions starting from the unfinished construction.

I am already thinking of my next project.

Audio-video, domotica e climatizzazione scompaiono nell'arredo con soluzioni intelligenti e versatili; una fra tutte il braccio a bandiera del televisore che permette allo stesso di piroettare verso l'esterno ed essere visto anche dal giardino.

To create the concept of maximum roomy spaces, the furniture is placed along the walls with equipped wardrobes or is hung along the walls. Audio and video, home automation and climate control devices disappear in the furnishing thanks to intelligent and versatile solutions; among the many others, a swing arm for the television that allows the television to turn to the external part of the house so that it can also be seen from the garden.

Il mio progetto architettonico è stato realizzato per dei committenti giovani e dinamici.

L'esterno, forte e pragmatico,doveva rispecchiarsi anche nell'arredamento interno, e lasciare spazio all'individuo di vivere un ambiente ricco di interazioni fra l'ambiente esterno naturale e l'anima più innovativa dell'interno fatta di acciaio, cemento, resine, vetro, quarzi e lacche. Il concetto di pulizia dello spazio non doveva venire turbato da decorazioni, soluzioni estetiche e costruttive non adeguate. Tempora ha colto subito la mia volontà nel conferire questo ordine estremo e mi ha aiutato suggerendo materiali e tecniche più affini al mio stile.

Minimal non vuol dire impersonale. Le soluzioni adottate hanno qualche cosa di unico e rappresentano un insieme di risultati, non ultimo, la soddisfazione del cliente.

My architectural design was created for young and dynamic clients. The strong and pragmatic exterior also had to reflect the interior, and leave room for the individual to experience an environment rich in interactions between the natural outdoors and the more innovative soul of the interior made of steel, cement, resins, glass, quartz and lacquers. The clean concept of the space was not to be disturbed by decorations and inadequate aesthetic and construction solutions.

Tempora immediately grasped my willingness to confer this extreme order, and helped me by suggesting materials and techniques similar to my style. Minimal does not mean impersonal. The solutions adopted have something unique, represent a set of results, and, last but not least, client satisfaction.

This eight-meter meeting table is the centre point of an Italian communications company.

Equipped with a giant screen and fully electrified, this meeting table moves upwards and creates an impressive workplace thanks to an elevated suspended ceiling. The structure was a challenge from a static point of view. 'The central element is made of 3-mm nikron®, and the remainder is made of embossed lacquer.

n palazzetto "terra cielo" come un albero con il suo fusto e i rami che diventano i piani abitativi. Questo progetto vuole consegnare al cliente un'oasi, un "buen retiro" in tonalitĂ bianco caldo, un posto accogliente per allontanarsi dalla frenetica vita quotidiana. Nella cantina con la meravigliosa volta a botte in mattoni, un'arredo "semplice" elegantemente rustico in abete vecchio piallato.

A building without height limits, like the trunk and branches of a tree that become residential floors. This project aims to deliver to the customer an oasis, a "retreat" in warm white, a cosy place to escape everyday life. In the cellar with its beautiful brick barrel vault ceiling, a "simple" yet elegantly rustic furnishing made of planed old spruce.

The enveloping atmosphere of the environments, the light bounces in the brightness of the delicately hardened colours. In the kitchen, cupboards with four rear lacquered glass sliding doors and steel profiles create a fully equipped pantry. The dining room, deliberately "discharged" of elements, highlights an English table from the 19 th century that has been renovated and brought back to life.

Cerco un profondo dialogo con l'interlocutore, coinvolgendolo sempre più, man mano che ci si addentra nei dettagli del progetto per dare un'anima ed una personalità al lavoro commissionato.

La ristrutturazione di questi ambienti e gli arredi dovevano creare una sorta di oasi per allontanare la frenesia e prendere le distanze dagli impegni di lavoro. Gli ambienti, volutamente scevri di contenuti e di colori, dovevano condurre ad una purezza concettuale fortemente cercata assieme al cliente e creata materialmente dal team Tempora. Abbiamo instaurato un dialogo professionale serrato e proficuo fatto di scambi, di conoscenza e di crescita. Mi è piaciuta la loro fermezza nel non scendere mai a compromessi con la qualità. La soddisfazione del cliente è stata, anche per questo motivo, totale.

Intuition drives me when a client asks me to design a space, be it living, working or relaxing. I look for a deeper dialogue with the other person and get that person even more involved as we delve into the details of the project in order to give a soul and a personality to the work commissioned. The renovation of these rooms and furnishings had to create a kind of oasis to ward off the hustle and bustle of everyday life and distance the client from work commitments.

The environments, which were deliberately devoid of content and colour, were to lead to a conceptual purity that was intensely sought together with the client and materially created by the Tempora team.

We established a close and fruitful professional dialogue filled with exchanges, knowledge and growth. I liked their steadfastness in never compromising on quality. It was also due to this that the client was fully satisfied.

Abbiamo lavorato con i guanti di cotone dal primo minuto nel quale siamo entrati in cantiere. I materiali, delicatissimi, lo esigevano: la pulizia è un fattore importantissimo.

uesto prestigioso appartamento è stato completamente realizzato da noi, dalla progettazione al montaggio, per conto della società immobiliare. Abbiamo utilizzato ebano makassar, ottone, acciaio e pelle bianca con l'applicazione di circa 6.000 borchie posate a passi variabili allo scopo di garantire un'estetica uniforme nelle dimensioni dei pannelli e nelle diverse giunzioni.

We created this prestigious apartment from design to assembly on behalf the real estate company. We used makassar ebony, brass, steel and white leather with the application of approximately 6,000 studs laid in variable steps in order to ensure a uniform appearance in the dimensions of the panels and in the various joints.

We worked with cotton gloves from the minute we walked onto the construction site.

This was essential due to the very delicate materials, and cleanliness was also a very important factor.

Si è trattato di una vera e propria sfida in quanto dovevo consegnare, chiavi in mano, una residenza a New York, nel luogo più prestigioso, e giocavamo tutti fuori casa. Non nascondo che il cantiere ha vissuto dei momenti di criticità, in quanto ci sono state molte variabili "in corsa" di tipo strutturale e di reinterpretazione degli stili con un succedersi di più progettisti.

La disponibilità di Tempora è stata determinante nello sciogliere le tensioni perchè al sorgere dei problemi ha saputo sempre proporre delle soluzioni giuste. Nella vita di un cantiere può succedere anche questo ma quel che più conta è avere tutti obbiettivo comune che punta alla soddisfazione del Cliente.

Top in onice retroilluminato con lavandini in vetro per il bagno padronale, la specchiera, contemporaneamente, è un armadietto apribile portamedicinali. Le griglie in acciaio, in alcune parti in ottone, sono le coperture del sistema di climatizzazione, anche queste di realizzazione esclusiva su disegno.

It was a real challenge because I had to deliver a turnkey residence in the most prestigious place in New York, and we were all playing away from home.

I cannot deny that the work site experienced some critical issues regarding structure and reinterpretation of style since there were many variable "on course" and a sequence of several designers. Tempora's availability was instrumental in dissolving tensions because they always proposed the right solution to problems that arose. This is bound to happen during the lifetime of a work site but what counts most is that everyone involved has the common objective of the satisfaction of the client.

Gli elementi art decò si ripetono in ogni ambiente coinvolgendo materiali, quali noce canaletto lucido lavorato a spina di pesce, intarsi in legno nero laccato, alcantara avoriato, resine color madreperla, vetro acidato .

Elegance and representation in this pied-à-terre urban apartment. Warm and welcoming in its brown amber hues. Art deco elements are repeated in each environment by involving materials such as herringbone glossy light walnut, black lacquered wood inlays, ivory-finished Alcantara, pearly resins and etched glass.

REPARTO NOTTE CON CABINE ARMADIO DALLA MASSIMA FUNZIONALITÀ SLEEPING AREA WARDROBES WITH MAXIMUM FUNCTIONALITY Le camere presentano boiserie con armadiature ad ante in alcantara e interni in legno naturale e specchi.

Particolare attenzione è stata riservata agli aspetti funzionali attraverso l'illuminazione a led, il sistema Servetto ®, il corretto posizionamento di ripiani e cassetti. La cabina armadio per "lui" costituisce un vero concentrato di razionalità unita a classe. Realizzata in ciliegio, ha cassetti dal frontale in vetro perfettamente illuminati, tiretti estraibili con ripiani vuota-tasche, ante scorrevoli e ampie superfici a specchio.

The rooms have wood panelling, and the wardrobes have Alcantara doors with natural wood interiors and mirrors. Special attention was given to the functional aspects by providing LED lighting, the Servetto® system and the correct positioning of shelves and drawers. The wardrobe for "him" is a real concentration of rationality together with class. Made of cherry wood, the wardrobe has glass fronted drawers that are perfectly lit, extractable pullers with miscellaneous holders as well as sliding doors and large mirror surfaces.

La realizzazione di questo progetto è per me legata ad un ricordo indissolubile: la ricorrenza del Natale.

Penso sia altrettanto per il Team di Tempora. Il vincolo strettissimo di questo lavoro, oltre alle altre innumerevoli caratteristiche e richieste per una commessa di questo livello, era proprio il tempo. Il cliente voleva trascorrere il Natale nella sua nuova dimora e io avevo dato la mia parola che questo suo desiderio si sarebbe realizzato.

Penso di aver fatto sentire molto questa pressione sul Team di lavoro, in alcuni momenti temevo di far "saltare" loro i nervi anche perchè le complessità in cantiere c'erano tutte. Loro si sono occupati di tutto, dal progetto alla realizzazione chiavi in mano e sapete com'è andata a finire?

Il cliente è entrato in casa alla vigilia di Natale. Penso abbia trascorso una festa memorabile con la famiglia nella sua elegante dimora Art Decò.

The creation of this project was linked to one of my favourite memories: the celebration of Christmas. I think that it is the same for the Tempora Team.

In addition to countless other features and requests for a contract of this level, the time limits for this work was tight.

The client wanted to spend Christmas in the new dwellings and I promised that I would fulfil this wish. I think I placed a lot of pressure on the work team, and I was afraid that I was "getting on their nerves" also because there were numerous complications related to this construction site.

They looked after everything, from the design to the turnkey construction. Do you know how it ended? The client entered the house on Christmas Eve. I think that this family spent a memorable holiday in their elegant Art Deco home.

The elegant perspective of the living room opens towards the fireplace and the external environment with an interplay of solids and voids and light and shadow. The pearl ivory colour of the walls, also repeated in the lacquered library "areas", softly diffuses the light. Pastel tones create a pleasant contrast with the dark shades of the flamed oak living area furniture. The atmosphere is enveloping and vibrant.

Progettare uno spazio abitativo moderno e razionale non freddo ed impersonale, dare vita a luoghi agevolmente fruibili in libertà di movimento e azione. Queste le esigenze di un nucleo familiare molto attento nelle scelte e con un denominatore comune: abitare il proprio nido domestico con intimità e gioia.

Mi sono accostata a questa ristrutturazione in un continuo confronto di idee con i miei committenti interpretando progettualmente le loro motivazioni. Ogni singolo particolare architettonico è stato studiato nel dettaglio e vagliato minuziosamente.

Tempora ha assecondato questo percorso consentendoci di verificare le decisioni passo dopo passo. Ne è scaturito uno spazio elegante dalla sobrietà ricercata.

Designing a modern and rational home that is not cold and impersonal, giving life to easily accessible places with freedom of movement and action. These are the motivations of a household that is united in its choices that all have a common denominator: to live their home nest with intimacy and joy! I approached this restructuring by interpreting these motives into my design thanks to a continuous exchange of ideas with my clients. Tempora was attuned to our wishes along the way and allowed us to verify the decisions made step by step.

DACIA RUSTICA E PASSIONE PER LA CACCIA RUSTIC DACHA AND A PASSION FOR HUNTING

R

esidenza voluta e studiata appositamente per coltivare l'arte venatoria durante tutto l'anno. Campo base per le battute di caccia con gli amici, rifugio serale accogliente per il rientro dalle stesse, magari raccolti attorno al grande caminetto centrale. Decisamente rustica nei masselli di noce, di rovere e di abete opportunamente piallati, anticati, patinati e sapientemente rifiniti anche con bassorilievi, intarsi a mano ed elementi in ferro battuto.

A residence built and designed specifically to cultivate the art of hunting throughout the year. A base camp for hunting with friends, a welcoming evening refuge for their return, perhaps gathered around the large central fireplace. Definitely rustic in solid walnut, oak and fir that has been suitable and intelligently planed, antiqued, coated and finished with bas-reliefs, inlays and hand wrought iron elements.

Le condizioni in cui è nata la realizzazione sono del tutto singolari. Si partiva dall'idea ben precisa di costruire una nuova residenza di caccia fortemente rustica che recuperasse le lavorazioni artigianali e trasferisse la sensazione di una Dacia solida e protettiva.

Ma cercavo di avere qualche cosa in più. Volevo respirare in questi luoghi anche il sapore del tempo. La caccia è un'arte che richiede una preparazione minuziosa, attesa, sacrificio ed esperienza maturata in tante battute; è vento e pioggia, sole e neve. Volevo vedere nell'arredo la forza e la resistenza all'usura.

Tempora ci è riuscita conferendo al legno massiccio una serie di finiture e lavorazioni riuscitissime che lo hanno reso già vissuto. L' abbinamento al ferro battuto, poi, e ad altri elementi sapientemente intagliati, ha storicizzato gli ambienti e li ha resi veramente unici.

The conditions in which the execution arose are entirely unusual. I started off with the very clear idea of building a new and very rustic hunting lodge that would salvage the handcrafted workmanship and convey the feeling of a solid and protective dacha. But I tried to get something extra. I wanted to also capture the flavour of time in these places. Hunting is an art that demands painstaking preparation, waiting, sacrifice and experience gained in a great many hunts. It is wind and rain, sun and snow. I wanted to see strength and wear-resistance in the furniture. Tempora was successful in the endeavour by giving the solid wood a series of highly effective finishes and treatments that aged it. Then the combination with wrought iron and other expertly carved elements gave the rooms a historical perspective and made them truly unique.

n'esperienza lavorativa nella quale abbiamo saputo dimostrare ai massimi livelli le nostre capacità organizzative e tecniche. Il tradizionale stile ampezzano incontra la nostra eccellenza artigianale e insieme danno vita ad una delle più prestigiose ville della Cortina immersa nella maestosità delle Dolomiti. La sontuosità degli arredi, la ricchezza di dettagli e la dimensione della commessa fanno di questa realizzazione un'opera complessa estremamente rara. La quantità di materiale necessario da reperire, abete antico, unita alla quantità di lavorazioni ad intaglio, tutte rigorosamente ed esclusivamente manuali, rendevano questo lavoro di dimensioni "faraoniche". Il materiale antico poi, presentava delle caratteristiche fisiche eterogenee rendendo le lavorazioni estremamente delicate.

A working experience in which we were able to demonstrate our organizational skills and techniques at the highest level. The traditional Ampezzan style meets our artisan excellence and together they create one of the most prestigious villas of Cortina surrounded by the majestic Dolomites. The sumptuousness of the furnishings, the richness of details and the size of the job make this creation an extremely rare piece of work. The amount of antique fir to find, combined with the amount of work for carving, all strictly and exclusively done by hand, made this job "pharaonic". Also, the antique materials had heterogeneous physical features making processing extremely delicate.

The craftsmanship for these types of projects have now almost completely disappeared.

Le capacità artigianali per queste lavorazioni sono ormai, quasi del tutto, scomparse. Noi le custodiamo ancora, tramandandole ai nostri giovani apprendisti come si usava nelle botteghe rinascimentali. Per darvi un'idea delle lavorazioni, vi basti pensare che nell'architrave della sala da pranzo sono stati intagliati ben 80 cervi, uno diverso dall'altro, per posizione ed espressione; le lampade applique complessivamente riportano oltre 300 melograni e frutti vari, tutti anche questi rigorosamente intagliati a mano: dettagli di una grande opera. Uno sguardo attento alle foto qui pubblicate vi farà senz'altro scorgere altre mille particolarità.

Per il decoro della cornice superiore è stata utilizzata la tecnica della colatura di gesso per ottenere l'effetto dell'altorilievo.

The fireplace in the main living room has the original shell and andiron, the beam and the furnishings, however, are completely redone with hand carving. The plaster casting technique was used for the decoration of the upper frame to achieve a high relief effect.

TECNICHE TRAMANDATE COME NELLE ANTICHE BOTTEGHE RINASCIMENTALI

The craftsmanship for these types of projects have now almost completely disappeared. We still guard them and hand them down to our young apprentices just like in the old renaissance workshops. To give you an idea of the work, just think that 80 deer were carved in the lintel of the dining room and each of them are different due to their position or expression; the wall lamps have an overall of 300 pomegranates and various fruits, which were all carved by hand: details of a large-scale job. The viewer will certainly see a thousand other peculiarities by taking a careful look at the photos published here.

Una finestra naturale attraverso la quale è possibile ammirare le meraviglie della Conca Ampezzana: una calda cornice in legno sapientemente lavorata, curve sinuose contrapposte alle spiccanti vette dolomitiche.

A natural window through which it is possible to admire the wonders of the Ampezzo valley: a skilfully created warm wood frame and sinuous curves contrasting with the sharp peaks of the Dolomites.
