An unbeaten Cal Poly team, vli th five straight wins; lost to · the Comet nine last week in Palomar's first game of the season.

The 10-1 victory over the· previously unbeaten ri ·..rals was even more o£ a victory sinee Cal Poly had come fresh from a win over Citrus, a team which has won the championship in the past two years and is highly favored to come out champion .again this year. Seven runs were registered as Palomar batters slammed · out eight safeties. The telling blows were singles by Harley Felure in both innings and two-run singles by Bob Linares and Louis Renn , Renn's coming with the .bases full.

This game served as a tune-up far Palomar's first conference game on March 28 with Citrus.

The Come tS have shown marked improvement with each game and should take Citrus in stride.

Improvement in all departments plus the addition of Bill Tipton to the outfield has made a fear~ some aggregation out of the Com, ets.

Elected were: Geneva Rose J president; Dennis Oh, vice-president; Joanne Taylori secretary; and Sally Love, treasurer.

Following elections, Bill Tipton and Paulette Robetoyre gave a report on the recent administrators' dinner meeting and curriculum planning discussion, held Tuesday evening last week, in the lounge.

The club then discussed ways and means of eiiminating members in case of a surplus of candidates. It was agreed that a dis~ cussion on the revision of the constitution would be put on the agenda for the next week's meeting. · SNOW PARTY
