In rec ent competition with six other Jun ior college livestock judging teams at the Los· Angeles County Farlr at Pomona:, three Palomar students received the second place team award.

Palomar, represented by Aliden Avery, Bill Tip)ton'-' and J1m Wootton, took a econd behind· Santa Ana Jrunior College .. Th is is the first year that Pa,lomar has given m cour~e in animal husbandry~ and the college team did well in the competition of over 300 members o!f Future Farmers and Young F~m­ ers organiz-ations.
