Sure. Your list didn't go back far enough, though. If you went back to ancient Greece, there were a number of excellent thinkers there who believed in the Greek gods like Zeus and Apollo. That doesn't make them right. It means they were brought up in a society where that belief was the norm, and they never shook it. Your list devolves today to "an engineer," which is different from a scientist. There are scientists today who are believers, but most of the better scientists are not. That doesn't mean that they're right not to believe. That would be the argument from authority fallacy: citing someone who's an expert in one field in a claim that's in an entirely different field. Of course, that's what you're doing here.
