Ingrid Cumming
Ingrid Cumming is a Whadjuk Balardong Noongar woman from Fremantle, Western Australia and a recognised young leader within the First Nations community.

Ingrid is the founder and principal consultant of Kart Koort Wiern consultancy, representing First Nations Business globally for over ten years, and an alumnus of Murdoch University and Melbourne Business School.

Ingrid was part of the establishment of the Indigenous Women in Business network and has served as a Commissioner for Conservation for the WA state government.
Ingrid has worked with a variety of sectors and organisations, creating, facilitating and evaluating programs and strategies to address issues and strengths.
Ingrid has won, and been a finalist in, a range of awards like NAIDOC Perth, Telstra Women in Business, Curtin Vice-Chancellor Awards, ‘Champion for Change’ by EPHEA (Equity Practitioners in Higher Education Australasia), WA Heritage Awards and Belmont Small Business Awards.
Ingrid has presented at various forums and conferences around the world in relation to engagement, equity and diversity matters including as a delegate at the UN Women Leaders Conference in Israel in 2013, TEDxPerth in 2014, and appeared on various TV programs, including The Drum in 2021.
Ingrid is a strong ally of LGBTIQ, First Nations, Youth and diverse groups, stakeholders and organisations.
Bethany is in her final year of an undergraduate degree at the University of Western Australia, where she is studying Law & Society, and German Studies. She was extremely fortunate to recently complete a language intensive and semester exchange in Stuttgart and Vienna respectively, and is excited to continue travelling the world as much as possible. She aims to pursue a career in criminal justice in the near future.
Bethany has been involved with TEDxKings Park since its inception and is excited to become more involved in the organisation as the Youth Panel Chair. She was very grateful to host TEDxYouth@KingsPark 2022 and attend TEDxSingaporeWeekend 2022.
Gemma is a high school student, currently completing Year 11 ATAR studies. With a keen interest in Law and Commerce, she hopes to pursue future university studies in these fields. Through her participation in the collaborative, creative-thinking challenges of Opti-MINDS and Da Vinci Decathalon, Gemma recognises the importance of idea spreading to nurture problem solving. Gemma strives to participate in leadership opportunities within her school and external community, and was fortunate to be awarded the Australian Defence Force Long Tan Youth Leadership and Teamwork award in 2022.
During her free time, Gemma enjoys reading, rock-climbing, playing netball and spending quality time with her family and friends.


Joshua has delivered motivational talks on pride, inner strength, resilience, and leadership at TEDxYouth@KingsPark, the Carers WA conference and the Youth Poverty Symposium. He has supported the Minderoo Foundation, Telethon Kids Institute, the Youth Advisory Council of WA, and is an ambassador for Carers WA, Carers Australia, Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation, Kalparrin, and the Valuing Children Initiative.
Josh is an invaluable carer for his 9-yearold sister Charlotte who was born with significant health issues and disabilities. He has also been instrumental in setting up SWAN Siblings. Josh was also awarded the Youth Citizen of the Year (Northam) in 2023 and was a finalist in the 7News Young Achiever Awards in 2023.
Keira is a senior student at a Montessori AP, studying Year 11 and Certificate III in Events Management. She is part of her local Youth Advisory and the Women’s Interest Committee for 2023’s WA Youth Parliament, following her passion for creating change and encouraging youth voices.
She started an online project in 2021 to create simplified information on our world, aiming to change the attitude towards creating positive change. She is an avid reader, writer and loves to dance.

Keira is passionate about getting people involved in uplifting, sustainable events, organising events for her school. She is excited to expand that interest and learn something new with TEDxKings Park!
