In brief, the process of moving to a larger facility, expanding production line and re-staffing, necessitated an advanced hierarchal firm structure to tangle the design and development, studies, pricing and continuous demands in orderto manufacture,install, deliver and meet projected deadlines.

The elder son, Wassim, a business graduate from BUC/LAU mounted the general management, handling suppliers, clients and management. As for Bassem, an engineer from BAU enforced his studies and expertise in tackling all structural engineering works, studies and estimations. Houssam, the youngest, had been hands-on at the factory and gained all conclusive and integrated know-how from profile types handling, cutting, assembly,installation to supervision.

As the company grew, each of the brothers ascended to manage a division and topping his own pyramid of staff and tasks.

The Head of Business Development of Auyan Enterprise with multiple tasks and extensive managerial talents, along with long years of experience.

Auyan Anthony Dhali has ascended Auyan Enterprise to a higher elevation and exponentially multiplied its service span.

Composition of Our Organization

Auyan Enterprise has rapidly grown to house over 300 employees at a ratio of 20-80 for white to blue collar staff. In other words, more than 200 employees are distributed between master craftsmen, technicians and workers where about one third are at the factory performing their daily tasks of preparation and assembly. The other blue collars are distributed amongprojects handling deployment and installation.

The white collars on the other hand, fall within 2 major categories:The first category covers all business and managerial departments such as accounts, pricing, imports, supplier's follow up and client servicing. The second category occupy the design department and are mostly engineers that include but not limited to architects, civil, mechanical,interiorand production, along with their assistants and draftsmen.

Department

Essentially our pricing department acts as an internal pricing consultant studying each project meticulously with attention to the least detail. This department obtains the very basic data from several departments such as procurement, engineering and design in addition to extensive details from production and installation units, to build a preliminary document ready for top management to review. The next step is to modify and amend the necessary clauses and rates to best suit the company goals and the targeted client project.

Pricingdepartment also help define, resource, and implement new pricingtools and processes that affects sales, marketing, and finance. Nevertheless, our pricing department takes a lead role in monitoring pricing effectiveness and insures the following:

Safety

Safety measures extend beyond the human factor to include products, machinery, and assets. Accidents may happen, but setting strict safety standards, proper training and safety guidelines surely will minimize future mishapsand calamities.

No senior or junior staff is allowed to use, handle or operate any mechanical, electrical, pneumatic or basic hand tool without a briefing on usage and hazards. All staff members are trained to respond in case of fire or any unpredictable disaster. By testing staff and creating fire drills and gathering at allocated safe emergency assembly points.

Supervisors and workers (on-site) are advised to completely comply to basic safety policies of wearing proper garments, hard hats, protective gloves, high visibility vests. When at heights, restraints, tool lanyards and work positioning devices are a must. Any worker's failure to use safety harnesses will render a primary warningthat if repeated,the worker will be terminated and the supervisor punished accordingly.

All factory workers are well trained to handle any fire outbreak, flood or electrical shortage to immediately extinguish blaze and cut power (by accessingproper circuit breakers).

Supervisors, both in-house and on-site undertook first aid classes at the Lebanese Red Cross (Received basic first aid certifications) in order to handle minor injuries and take proper actionif transpires.

Fire extinguishers (Foam/Red and CO2/Black),fire blankets, first aid cabinets and ceiling mounted sensors & water sprinklers are evenly distributed around offices and factory sections.

All drivers are not allowed to embark on any trip prior to fastening their seatbelts and loudly announcing to fasten seatbelts and insuring all workers on board have complied.

Heavy machinery operators follow a strict procedure and are continuously supervised by outranked personnel.

Offices, warehouses, parking and factory are monitored 24/7 by cameras.

From recycling printouts, to environmentally friendly containers and packaging materials, all the way to sealants and insulation elements are continuously beingmonitored and used.

Setting the standards, allocating special containers and training all workers to handle waste materials that can be recycled or hazardous to the environment in the most proper manner. Nonstop efforts are made to remind staff and workers of these tasks via signboards, noticesand direct verbal tips.

At Auyan Enterprise, we initiated an incisive policy to return all left over waste materials on-site back to our facilities in order to be properly disposed of or delivered to specialized recycling collection centers; this is an additional cost that we gladly love to incur, to keep our country and other countries (we operate in) clean.

Fumigation involves controlling pests by using fumes. Fumigation is one of the methods used to control pests. However, pest control operators do not often use this method. Fumigation is generally used for control commodity pests and export material. Volatile gases or other chemicals that release gases are used in fumigation, eg. Methyl bromide and aluminum phosphate. This process is sometimes referred to as “gassing.”
