About Monaco

Proxim offers Monaco, a high speed wireless connectivity system that supports transfer of data, video and voice solutions enabling a broad range of communication for public and private networks. Monaco is designed to be used primarily for connecting wireless stations to an enterprise network. This device allows wireless stations to connect directly with each other, or to enhance connection with other devices or network resources located on the wired network. Monaco is an outdoor unit designed to sustain the unpleasant outdoor environments and ensure high‐speed voice, access and data services. It is a flexible wireless router based on the chipsets that supports multiple high data rate radios. It also supports MIMO and data rates of up to 300Mbps per radio.

With Monaco’s innovative software solution, you can configure, manage and monitor the networks at lower installation costs and in return, unmatched throughput. Device allows greater range and mobility within your wireless network and also allows connectivity from a wireless network to a wired environment. The users of this product include Wireless Service Providers, Enterprises, Surveillance Professionals and Public Safety/Government Agencies.

Monaco’s Base station units and Subscriber units provide the following capabilities: • Stand‐alone wireless access point (802.11b/g/n) with support for wireless backhaul over either 5.1 GHz and 2.4 GHz to 5.9 GHz frequencies and supports
