Have you ever heard of the YouTube intro “Hey guys, it’s your girl mimiyuuuh oh yeah,”? Well if not, you’re missing a lot in the rise of the new YouTube superstar, Mimiyuuuh. Jeremy Lomibag Sancebuche, also known as Mimiyuuuh, became one of the most popular YouTuber here in the Philippines. Her fame today was the effect of her video that became viral and got over a million views which was the “Dalagang Pilipina” challenge. Starting to get an image of her now? Birth of Fame Mimiyuuuh’s impact on social media was the reason of her success today. From a fun-made video of the “Dalagang Pilipina”, this video gained a lot of attention in the social media and virality. This was a challenge where the video shows Mimi doing funny face expressions on how she thinks a dalagang pilipina should pose and act. She stated that she didn’t expect the video would go viral and see other people mimicking her expressions. This eventually became the stepping stone for Mimi to became a YouTuber and start creating video contents such as vlogs, challenges, trips and more.

New YouTuber After deciding to become a YouTuber, Mimi created her own YouTube channel named “Mimiyuuuh” and started to upload her contents. Her following video entitled “Kahit Ayaw Mo Na” challenge also went viral. It’s like Mimiyuuh was destined to entertain the online world. She said that many people are requesting her to create a tutorial video of the “Dalagang Pilipina” challenge and Mimiyuuuh granted this request. She made a comedic video on how to do the challenge. She related the poses she make to awkward situations like “nung nakalunok ka ng tubig tapos tumingin si crush” and these descriptions brought hilarity to the viewers.

Iconic Voice Not only that Mimi’s comedic personality made her become known and remembered, her unique voice also portrayed a lot on what she is now. The multiple vivid ornamentations of notes in her voice (kulot ng boses) was her one in a kind asset that she is known for. A humorous comment stated in one of Mimiyuuuh’s vlogs that if Regine Velasquez was “Asia’s Song Bird”, then Mimi is the “Asia’s Song Goat” because only Mimiyuuuh can add that much of “kulot” in a song or sentence. She also created covers of songs like “Kung ‘Di Rin Lang Ikaw”, “Amatz”, “Mabagal” and her newest one “All I Want For Christmas Is You” that all gained popularity.

Collab Times Mimiyuuuh’s videos were always trending so fellow YouTubers would often contact Mimi for a collab video and some of them were also known and famous content creators. She collaborated with Claro the Third who gave her a new vlogging camera as a gift for her success and foreign YouTuber Jamie Zhu known for his hilarious videos. Mimi also collaborated with celebrity vloggers like the Gold Squad (Kadenang Ginto main casts), Alex Gonzaga and Love Marie Escudero or Heart Evangelista which was Mimi’s most classy collab which was the “Mimiyuuuh as Heart Evangelista for a Day” video but what subscribers really want Mimi to create a lot of videos with Benny De Guzman Cua or Benedict Cua.

Love Team When Mimiyuuuh and Benedict Cua first collaborated on April 12th, their first video together already seemed like they’ve known each other for a long time. Viewers already noticed that these two has some sort of chemistry because they were able to become natural and comfortable with each other on their first video even though their relationship was not that long and thus the new couple ship MimiDict was born. This just shows that the bond between the two is genuine and they are a good match as friends, collab buddies or some might say, even as a cou- ple. Life Goals

With her fame, Mimi can already vlogging as her career for she already had her breakthrough in this business but she is still undecided on this matter. Currently she is now the breadwinner of her family and sustains their everyday needs. She intends to keep helping her parents as well as pursue her passion in fashion. Mimiyuuuh has a great sense of style in outfits. She also intends to popularize her own clothing brand “Fangs” . “a contemporary street style brand that empow- ers women through unconventional and ragged clothing” and does her own designs. Vlogging was not really Mimiyuuh’s passion but she is hop- ing for more years of being a content creator.

Awards and Titles Since she started as vlogger last March and continues to upload her videos, Mimiyuuuh already got her Gold Play Button from YouTube for reaching 1 million subscribers last October and now currently has around 1.57 million sub- scribers that is impressive because in a span of eight months, Mimiyuuuh already has this influ- ence over the social media. She already received her first title as a vlogger which is the “Trend- ing of the Year Award” at the 2019 E! POP Gala that which recognized this year’s most influential vloggers, bloggers, celebrities, and content cre- ators.
