The legend says that after a long and adventurous journey.

Tekir, a crippled old man and his wounded donkey, reached the shore of this lake by mistake.

It turned out that the lake’s water and mud healed their bodies, as they felt healthier and younger than ever.

The story of Tekir spread around the world and, since then, thousands visit the lake every year to experience its miraculous effects.

The Therapeutic Virtues of Sapropelic Mud The sapropelic mud from Lake Techirghiol is one of Romania’s most valuable natural jewels. In 1890, at the Universal Exposition from Paris, Techirghiol mud was awarded with the golden medal for its properties.

Techirghiol mud is an alkaline substance (pH=8.2) and it has a quantitative and qualitative mineralization that classifies it at the head of the sapropelic muds worldwide. (total mineralization: Cl- 3545,60, SO4-2 548.0, HCO3- 390,4, Na+ 2218,0, K+ 96,0, Ca2+ 89,6, Mg2+ 167,2, Fe2+ 9,6, NH4+ 12,6, NO357,0, NH2+ 1,4, H2S 41,931).

SPA THERAPY Antirheumatic Massage Lotion This unique formula contains saline water from Lake Techirghiol, rich in mineral salts and nutrients, meant to treat local inflammatory diseases.
