GOOD AND BAD HABITS
Habits make or mar a person. Good habits help him or her make progress in life. They keep him healthy and prosperous. What are these good habits? Think over the issue. Getting early in the morning was and still considered a good habit. It enables you to be ahead of those who get up late. You have a plenty of time to get ready, look after your health and other needs, do or revise the tasks expected of you during the day. Some people these days pay little attention to getting up early. This is mostly out of compulsion, and not out of choice. Taking care of teeth, having a bath daily, playing an active game are some of good habits which we can follow easily. Then sitting and standing properly, speaking politely and saying"Thankyou' and'Sorry'are other habits which are profitable.
On the other hand, bad habits are aplenty. Among these are wrong eating habits, consuming intoxicants, driving rashly, behaving rudely and aggressively, etc. The youngsters these days are in the habit of watching TV programmers or playing video-games at the cost of their studies. They are also in the habit of eating fast and fried food and taking fizzy drinks, which, consumed in excess, cause many serious
Ailments. The adolescents are habitually careless, impolite and disobedient these days.
We should realize the harmful effects of bad habits. We should make conscious efforts to come out of the vicious circle of bad habits. We should adopt good habits. Only then can we lead a healthy, satisfying life.
