Our history
TECAM was founded in 1992 with the aim of providing maintenance and spare parts in the waste collection equipment sector, responding to the needs of the local market. Over the years, TECAM has managed and solved many failures on equipment of different types and brands. The company has developed over time thanks to its focus on quality and fast delivery times with skills focused on carpentry, hydraulics, pneumatics and electronics. Antonio Manfredi, company administrator, made sure that TECAM has become a leader in the maintenance sector. During the years, driven by the continuous needs of customers, TECAM has also specialized in tailor-made equipment construction.
This long history of experience and continuous development has led to the choice of using the acquired knowledge in its own production. Our company's mission is to develop a quality product that requires little maintenance and is extremely reliable. Production is focused on waste collection equipment and miniCompactors, equipped with bin lifters and other accessories. The problems faced, the advice of the operators in the sector and the attention to details made TECAM a serious and reliable partner for any need in the refuse collection market.
Maintenance and Spare Parts
Maintenance is TECAM's core business. Our working method consists first in identifying the fault, through customer reports. Then, the causes at the origin of the failure are identified by our technicians and the various possible solutions are examined. The solution that we usually propose to the customer is to make what we call "improvement recovery", that is a solution that not only solves the problem of that moment: it has the purpose of improving the performance of the machine in the long term. Moreover, maintenance times are the basis of our work: machine downtime is evaluated with the customer. Our aim is finding solutions that assure that ensure the shortest interruption of the service.
TECAM is proud to have become the local maintenance partner of the most important manufacturers of equipment in waste collection market. We do daily maintenance on compactors, satellite vehicles, sweepers, bin washers, cranes, roll-off lifts, drains, snow blades, salt spreaders etc. of all the major brands on the market. Since 2015, in the new headquarters in Ossona (MI), TECAM has a 2,500 m2 covered workshop and warehouse, and 4,000 m2 of outdoor spaces. The spare parts warehouse, allows to reduce the delivery times of the vehicles, responding to the customer's needs. TECAM has some mobile service vehicles, with all the necessary instruments to be able to carry out rapid interventions "on site".
Design and production of equipment for waste collection
TECAM products have always been the result of the process of acquiring experience from the maintenance sector. Designing equipment for TECAM means predicting malfunctions and structural failures, selecting quality and high reliability components, finding the best solutions to obtain a valid, resistant and easyto-use products.
TECAM does not design only a machine: we design it usability. TECAM products cover a range of: small waste collection equipment and mini compactor of different sizes, which can be installed on vehicles of the most famous brands. The mission of improving the product and search for new solutions allowed TECAM to develop its R&D department, trying to predict market trends and respond to the needs of the future.
