Damage Claims
Customer should notify Brownlow of damaged items or discrepancies in the order within 30 days of receipt. Do not destroy cartons, particularly on displays, in the event that the damage claim is through the carrier.

The Story of Brownlow During the 1950’s my father, Leroy Brownlow, was a minister for a large church and often made hospital visits to members who were sick. While he always prayed with them and did a lot of listening, he also wanted to give them something to read after he left. So late at night he began writing essays and in 1959, self-published a gift book entitled “Flowers That Never Fade”. He gave it away for the first year or so, but soon stores wanted to stock the little inspirational book. The book was very successful and he began to write more books, and convinced me to leave university teaching in 1974 to join him in the new business. We started in a converted gas station with the two of us and a secretary, and a dream of producing products that inspire people, make them smile and encourage them. As the years went by, the small publishing company grew steadily, but during the late 1980’s our products started to look a little stale compared to our competitors. My wife Carol suggested we offer products with more trendy feminine designs and colors. I am so thankful we listened to her, and as a result, our publishing company made the transition to a gift company and our sales flourished again. My sons joined the business in the 1990’s, and we have been blessed with a top notch group of people for Product Development, Production, Sales, Shipping & Warehouse and Customer Service.
