The landscape architecture curriculum aims for students to obtain knowledge from both the classroom and self- learning. In class, students are prompted for interactive learning in forms of reading, writing, and discussion. The teaching of landscape architectural studios is founded on problem-based learning and project-based learning, both of which emphasize critical thinking during all processes, including analysis, synthesis, and assessment, that lead to the design solution and action.
Constructivist teaching creates experience for students who are then able to actively learn by themselves. In addition, there are special activities that enhance knowledge and experience such as field trips to landscape architecture works both within and outside of the country. Students are able to understand the real conditions of the context, which assist in creating appropriate landscape architectural designs based on their contexts.
