Gilley’s Enterprises PPL: Small World beat defending champs, lead points table LENFORD Singh added two goals to his season’s tally as new team Small World United climbed to the top of the league and in the process dented the AFC Academy’s chances of retaining their Gilley’s Enterprises Provo Premier League (PPL) title. Singh scored the opening goal against the Academy, created a
penalty which was converted by a teammate and then sealed the game in the second half (3-0). Singh has now scored eight goals this season. In the most recent points standings Small World are ahead on nine points from four games followed by the Sharks, who whipped Teachers FC 5-1 in their latest clash on Tuesday night. Both

Stefan Morris led the Kings with a double-double 17 points, 11 assists and four rebounds. On Wednesday night the Flyers
recorded another win when they edged out the Spartans 66-63. Jakie Been and Cash led the attack with the former scoring 16 points, to go with eight boards and three steals. Cash finished with 15 points, five rebounds and two steals. Emanio Williams (16 points and seven rebounds) and Devin Williams (16 points and six rebounds) led the Spartans’ attack. Despite the loss it was a better finish for the Spartans who were beaten by 15 points on Friday night. In that game the Sonics triumphed 102-87. Darado Fulford scored 29 points and eight rebounds for the winners, while Dudley Lightbourne added 13 points and four boards.
