FOR THE PAST SIX YEARS, MIKE TRIPOLI FROM NATIONAL REALTY CENTERS IN NORTHVILLE HAS MADE EVERY ONE OF HIS CLIENTS FEEL AS IF THEY WERE HIS ONLY CLIENT. HE PERSONALLY TAKES EACH PHONE CALL, EMAIL, AND SALE, AND PRIDES HIMSELF ON BEING A ONE-MAN SHOW. “MY REFERRALS GROW AND MY RELATIONSHIPS BUILD BECAUSE I AM PASSIONATE ABOUT PEOPLE,” HE SAID. “MY CLIENTS START AS CUSTOMERS AND SOON BECOME FRIENDS.”

Mike is an easygoing, no-nonsense guy who enjoys selling without being a salesman. “My motto is ‘life is short, make a move,’” he shared. “My entire life philosophy is built around this mindset. I mean, really, what are you waiting for?”

After 13 years of managing rental properties and remodeling homes, Mike bought three Little Caesars Pizza franchises. For nearly eight years he immersed himself into the restaurant business and then realized he needed a change. With years of experience in remodeling and property management, Mike was familiar with real estate from various perspectives. “I was ready to move into the next chapter in my life, and I felt confident my skill set would work in the real estate world,” Mike recalled. “I was familiar with everything from property taxes and values to costs of repair and home features.

Additionally, I enjoy helping people and making the homebuying experience easier for them.”

It’s the relationship-building aspect of real estate that Mike is most passionate about in his business. “It’s a good feeling when you can do what you love,” he said. “Real estate has made my life peaceful. When I’m working, it doesn’t feel like work because I enjoy my job so much.”

When Mike first began his real estate career it was a challenge to get clients to believe in him, especially when he didn’t have many sales. “It’s a common struggle for new agents,” Mike said. “I quickly learned my strengths and weaknesses and focused on what it is that I do best – building relationships.”

Since becoming a real estate agent six years ago, Mike has sold over 200 units, garnering more than $40 million in sales volume.

Mike’s real estate success has given him the ability to give back to charity groups such as Northville’s Main Street League and St. Jude’s. “Giving back to the community and supporting organizations that are important to me is my motivation every day,” he said.

Growing up, Mike’s parents played an important role in his life. Today, Mike still refers to his dad as his “rock.” Similarly, Mike’s two children, Dominick and Olivia, were also influences that helped define and shape him. “I had my kids at a young age,” Mike explained. “They made a positive impact on me becoming the man I am today.” His kids are now 20 and 23 and happily living busy lives. His son works at Amazon, and his daughter lives in Chicago and attends Loyola University where she is studying advertising. Mike’s girlfriend, Jennifer, has three boys — Nazem, 18, Chadi, 17, and Mahdi, 15. Nazem is a sophomore at Michigan State University, Chadi is deciding on colleges, and Mahdi is a sophomore at Northville High School where he plays football. “Needless to say, we are all very busy,” Mike laughed.

In his free time, Mike can be found doing anything physical: working out, cycling, running and golfing. He enjoys reading motivational and spiritual books and has a love for music and looks forward to when he can go to live concerts again.

“Real estate has given me the freedom to work my schedule,” Mike shared. “It has introduced me to clients who are now great friends, and it has given me happiness, which is how I define success.”
