Mary Beth Marchiony Named Head of School Mary Beth Marchiony became Topeka Collegiate’s Head of School on July 1, 2011. She is the first woman to be named to the top leadership position in the school’s nearly threedecade-long history. In her short time at Topeka Collegiate, Mary Beth Marchiony has continued a well-established pattern of earning high praise from professional colleagues and affection from students and their families. Topeka Collegiate Board of Trustees President Michel’ Cole says, “Mary Beth is a solutions-focused leader with a love for children and passion for education. Given her depth of previous experiences in independent schools, she brings a wealth of knowledge and a steady, even approach to making our school the best it can be.”
