Samantha was awarded a “Google High School” Samantha Crow Quist ’95 is Topeka High’s diploma, a nod commencement speaker to her work at Google, and to Topeka’s effort to persuade Google to choose our city as a test site for ultrafast Internet service.

Samantha Crow Quist married Jacob Quist on August 28 at the Circle S Ranch on the Kansas Prairie outside Lawrence with family and friends from all over the world looking on, and buffalos grazing in the adjoining pasture. One of the high points of the reception was the groom’s surprise rendition of Elvis’ “Can’t Help Falling in Love” dedicated to the bride and followed by fireworks. Stacy Elmer continues to enjoy serving as the Special Assistant to the Assistant Secretary for Bioterrorism Preparedness and Emergency Response in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Over the past few months Stacy spent long hours managing the public health response to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
