Our Activity and the Current Economic Downturn
A queda do preço do Petróleo nos mercados internacionais está a afectar directamente a actividade da TCPI, em determinados mercados definidos como prioritários na nossa estratégica.
The drop of Oil price in the international markets is directly affecting the activity of TCPI in certain markets defined as priority in our strategic. What we have been dealing with is a systematic delay of projects, with the resizing of others and the outright cancellation of projects for which we had the best perspectives.
O que temos verificado é um adiamento, sistemático, de projectos, redimensionamento de outros e a anulação pura e simples de projectos para os quais tínhamos as melhores das perspectivas.
These events compounded by the situation of Angola, determine our present and forthcoming activity.
Estes acontecimentos, agravados com a situação de Angola, condicionam a nossa actividade actual e futura. Um plano de contenção de custos está a ser aplicado com efeitos imediatos. Apelo a todos os colaboradores, que se concentrem no mesmo objectivo de contenção de custos e diminuição do desperdício. Cada um deve focar-se no seu trabalho com vista a uma maior eficiência e maior produtividade. O nosso objectivo é manter a empresa estável e salvaguardar os postos de trabalhos. No entanto, tudo isto só será possível e viável com esforço e empenho de todos. Orgulhamo-nos da qualidade do nosso quadro técnico. Passámos por muitas “tempestades” e conseguimos um crescimento sustentável graças à diversificação da actividade e redefinição das nossas estratégias. Não podemos fazer previsões, apenas antecipar. A cost-cutting plan is being implemented with immediate effect. I appeal to all employees to focus on the same goal of cost containment and waste reduction. Each one must focus on his own work, with the aim to increase efficiency and productivity. Our goal is to keep the company stable and safeguard the workplace. However all this is only sustainable and feasible with the effort and the commitment of all. We take pride in the quality of our technical framework. We went through many "storms" and achieved sustainable growth by activity diversification and strategies redefinition. We are not able to forecast only anticipate. We must go on trusting the future but cautious in every step we will take together.

Bola de Cristal ou “Antecipação Positiva”
The Crystal Ball or “Positive Anticipation”
Hoje em dia, vivemos num mundo de incertezas onde as mudanças têm sido profundas. Arriscaria dizer que estamos a assistir a “uma mudança civilizacional”.
Nowadays, we live in a world of uncertainty where changes have been quiet deep. I could venture to say that we might be looking at a “civilization shift”.
A maneira de pensar, de planear, de abordar os mercados tem de ser, necessariamente, diferente.
The way of thinking, of planning, of approaching markets must necessarily be different.
No mundo industrial, em que as novas tecnologias evoluem muito rapidamente, têm de ocorrer mudanças. Estas circunstâncias não são diferentes de outras situações que já ocorreram num passado recente.
In the industrial world, where new technologies evolve very quickly, changes must happen. These circumstances are not different from other situations which have occurred in the recent past.
As empresas têm de repensar as suas estratégias, adaptar a sua visão, a sua cultura e seus valores.
Companies need to rethink their strategies, adapt their vision, their culture and their values.
Mas para continuarmos, há que abraçar o futuro com esperança e confiança. Não cometer os mesmos erros do passado. Esta atitude positiva e motivadora deve ser transversal nos diferentes mercados, nas empresas e nas pessoas. A globalização dos mercados e a concorrência obrigou-nos, numa “primeira etapa”, a “Parar”, a “Escutar” com atenção e a “Observar”. Não temos uma Bola de Cristal, que sem dúvida, nos daria muito jeito. Mas temos a capacidade de antecipar, a competência técnica e a vontade de vencer. A comunicação e a partilha de informação são primordiais. A TCPI está numa fase de redefinição que implica o focar as atenções não só em nós próprios mas em tudo o que está a acontecer pelo mundo fora. A “segunda etapa” é o “Agir” em função do que observámos. E já estamos a fazê-lo porque acreditamos que a empresa tem essa capacidade que nos caracteriza, há mais de 25 anos. “Projectamos e Construímos o Futuro”

But to move on, we have to embrace the future with hope and confidence. Not to make the same mistakes of the past. This positive and motivating attitude should be transversal in different markets, in organizations, and in people. Market globalization and concurrence forced us, in a "first stage" to "Stop", to "Listen" carefully and to "Observe". We have no Crystal Ball which, undoubtedly, would be most suitable. But we have the ability to anticipate, technical expertise and the will to win. The communication and information sharing are paramount. TCPI is in a redefinition stage which comprises to focus the attention not only on ourselves but on everything that is happening around the world. The "second stage" is to "Act" according to what we have observed. Para onde vamos?
Where are we going?
O preço do petróleo baixou de 100$/bl para 50$/bl, em pouco mais de 6 meses. À primeira vista é um facto perante o qual devemo-nos sentir contentes.
The price of oil dropped from 100$/bl to 50$/bl in no more than 6 months. At first glance, it is a fact should make us feel glad.
Os preços dos combustíveis e dos transportes baixam. A economia cuja rentabilidade e oportunidade de crescimento depende em grande parte do preço do petróleo parece, nestas circunstâncias, ter razões para otimismo. Para as empresas e para os Estados, grandes ou pequenos, ricos ou pobres, esta notícia parece ser positiva.
Fuel and transport prices fall. The economy whose profitability and growth opportunity depends, mostly, on the price of oil seems, in these circumstances, to have reasons for optimism. For companies and for big or small States, rich or poor, this news seems positive.
Contudo, há duas questões que muitas pessoas gostariam de ver respondidas.

A primeira questão é, PORQUÊ?
However, there are two questions that many people would like to see answered.
First question is, WHY?
Porquê esta incompreensível redução de preço de 50%? Neste jogo, talvez o mais importante da Economia Mundial, existem muitas variáveis, tais como, interesses políticos, económicos e financeiros cujas equações são complexas e quase sempre indefiníveis.
Why this incomprehensible price reduction of 50%? In this game, perhaps the most important in the World Economy, there are many variables such as political, economic and financial interests whose equations are almost always indefinable.
A interpretação mais corrente é que há uma “conspiração”, dizem uns, da Arábia Saudita contra o Irão, dizem outros dos Estados Unidos da América contra a Rússia.
The most common interpretation is that there is a "conspiracy", some say, Saudi Arabia against Iran, others say the United States against Russia.
Há outros que reduzem a questão ao funcionamento normal do mercado da oferta/procura e que uma produção elevada traz um excesso de oferta, consequentemente, uma baixa de preço. Para outros e, certamente a mais importante neste caso, é a especulação financeira que governou o preço do petróleo nos últimos anos com preços altos. Ou seja, o mundo obscuro, não transparente dos produtos financeiros estruturados e dos “futuros” onde o petróleo passou a ser “papel especulativo” sem nenhuma relação concreta com a realidade física.
There are others that reduce the issue to the normal functioning of the supply/ demand market and that a high production provides an excess of supply, consequently, a price decline.
For others and surely the most important in this case, is a financial speculation that ruled the price of oil the past few years of high prices. That is, the murky world, not transparent of the structured financial products and the so call ”futures" where oil has become "speculative paper" without any specific relation with the physical reality.

Sabendo que na verdade há um excesso de oferta e que o único ator substancialmente influente, a Arábia Saudita, se recusa a diminuir a produção e que as previsões de consumo continuam a ser as mesmas leva-nos a outra questão.
A segunda questão é, E AGORA?
Knowing the fact that there is an oversupply and the only significantly influent player, Saudi Arabia, refuses to reduce production and once the demand forecasts remain the same, leads us to another question.
Second question is, AND NOW?
As varáveis objetivas que deveriam definir o preço estão relativamente bem controladas, mas pondo de lado a “teoria da conspiração”, que não me parece ser realista, fica na mesa a variável da especulação financeira. Embora poderosa, autónoma e anónima, esta variável é influenciada por muitas outras: valor do dólar, razões políticas, custos dos investimentos, custos de produção, orçamentos dos Estados Produtores (isto é, necessidades), entre outras. Fazer previsões racionais, parece-me impossível.
The objective variables that should set the price are relatively well controlled, but putting aside the "conspiracy theory" which does not seem to be realistic, it remains the financial speculation variable. Although powerful, autonomous and anonymous, this variable is influenced by many others: dollar value, political reasons, investment costs, production costs, Producers States' budgets (i.e. needs), among others. To make rational forecasts, it seems to me impossible.
Restam as percepções/intuições. As minhas são que o preço do petróleo andará durante algum tempo entre 50$ e 70$/bl para depois se estabilizar entre 70$ e 90$/bl.
Perceptions / insights remain. Mine are that oil price will range during sometime between 50$ and 70$/bl to then stabilize between 70$ and 90$/bl.
Alguns ganham e outros perdem
Some wins and others loose
Os maiores perdedores são os países produtores cuja economia se baseia no petróleo (os países árabes, a Rússia, a Nigéria, Angola, e a Venezuela).
The main losers are the Producer countries whose economy relies on petroleum (Arab States, Russia, Nigeria, Angola, and Venezuela).
Depois vem as Empresas petrolíferas que terão necessariamente de reduzir os investimentos e “apertar o cinto” nos custos de produção. Estas empresas passarão por um tempo de ajustamento mas retomarão o investimento em novos projetos, razão de ser da sua existência. Contudo, atuarão com critérios de exigência mais elevados e uma busca maior de eficiência.
Next come Oil Companies which will necessarily have to scaling down investments and "fasten seat belt" on production costs. These companies will go through an adjustment time but will resume their investments on new projects, reason of its existence. However, they will work with higher demand criteria and higher search for efficiency.
A seguir vêm os Empreiteiros e as Companhias de Serviços, uma vez que, as Empresas de Petróleo, reduzindo os investimentos e os custos de produção, vão procurar fazer economias, retardarão projetos e otimizarão os custos de manutenção. Estas empresas passarão, igualmente, por um período de ajustamento paralelo às Empresas petrolíferas e retomarão depois a normal atividade com um escrutínio mais rigoroso da eficiência. Quem ganha serão os países Importadores de Petróleo que terão balanças de pagamento exteriores mais folgadas, uma economia mais saudável e em crescimento, mais receitas e mais emprego. Afterwards Contractors and Services Companies are at stake, since the Oil Companies reduce investment and production costs. They will be looking to make economies, will delay projects and optimize maintenance costs. These companies also will go through a period of parallel adjustment to Oil Companies and then retake normal activity with a more rigorous scrutiny of efficiency. Who gains will be Oil Importers countries which will have external balance of payments more comfortable, healthier and growing economy, more revenue and more employment. No dia 18 de Fevereiro de 2015, na sede da TCPI TECNOPROJECTO INTERNACIONAL, ocorreu a Reunião Anual de revisão do Sistema de Gestão de Qualidade, Segurança e Ambiente
The Annual Review Meeting for the Quality, Safety and Environment Management System took place on the 18th February 2015, at TCPI TECNOPROJECTO INTERNACIONAL headquarters.
Nesta reunião, foram apresentados os resultados à Administração e às diversas Unidades de Negócios. O bom desempenho nas áreas de Saúde, Segurança e Ambiente reflectiram-se nas Estatísticas do Grupo TCPI, não havendo registo de acidentes de trabalho, nem de acidentes ambientais.
During the meeting, the results were presented to the Administration and to the different Business Units. The good performance in Health, Safety and Environment areas were reflected in the TCPI Group Statistics. No work-related accidents or environmental incidents occurred.
A diversidade dos países nos quais o Grupo TCPI desenvolve a sua actividade e os requisitos de cada país, implicaram um grande investimento na formação nos diversos âmbitos, nomeadamente, nas áreas QSA, visando o aperfeiçoamento contínuo das competências de todos os trabalhadores.
The diversity of countries in which TCPI Group develops its activity and the requirements of each country resulted in a major investment in training in different areas, particularly, in QSA areas, in order to achieve a continuous improvement of workers´ skills.
Perante estas necessidades está em curso de finalização a Certificação SCC/VCA. Esta certificação habilita a TCPI a executar grandes Projectos, nomeadamente com a TOTAL na Bélgica e, futuramente, nos Países Baixos com outros Clientes. Estão agendadas para o mês de Maio 2015 as auditorias para as recertificações das normas ISO 9001, ISO 14001 e OHSAS 18001. Henrique Chaves Director QSA
Facing these needs, the finalization of the VCA/SCC Certification is underway. This certification enables TCPI to perform large projects, particularly with TOTAL, in Belgium and in the future, in Netherlands with other clients. Recertification audits of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 are scheduled for the month of May 2015.

Resultados Financeiros 2014 O exercício de 2014 foi mais um ano de provas e testes de stress, devido à crise instalada um pouco por toda a parte, particularmente, em algumas localizações onde se encontram empresas do Grupo TCPI. O nível de actividade apresentou um notório crescimento, face ao registado no ano anterior, diversos contratos em carteira arrancaram e continuaram ao longo do ano de 2014, tendo permitido este crescimento. A actividade no continente africano continua a ter um papel importante na vida do Grupo TCPI. Em 2014 contámos já com a actividade da TCPI Nacala, em Moçambique, proporcionou o esperado crescimento e desenvolvimento neste continente. A TCPI Angola apresentou, antes do final do ano, o nível de carteira muito idêntico ao registado no ano anterior, sendo a empresa do Grupo TCPI que regista o mais elevado valor de backlog para os próximos anos. Espera-se que arranque, em breve, o principal projecto em carteira, onde se encontra um dos investimentos de carácter importante em Angola. Também, os países de Leste continuaram a ser uma boa zona de actividade para a TCPI. Na Estónia, a actividade continuou a desenvolver-se e as expectativas para o ano de 2014 foram atingidas. No que respeita a Resultado Líquido do Grupo, o objectivo foi alcançado, manifestando a capacidade do Grupo em recuperar da conjuntura apresentada em 2013 – para tal contribuiu a grande recuperação dos projectos transitados do ano anterior (caso de Camarões e Estónia). As expectativas para 2015 são ainda incertas, não se prevendo que o crescimento registado em 2014 seja contínuo, não só pela franca resposta a propostas colocadas a clientes (cujas adjudicações não são ainda conhecidas) mas, também, pela dificuldade das localizações de projectos em curso. Financial Results in 2014 The year 2014 was another year of trials and stress tests due to the installed crisis a little bit all over the place, particularly, in some locations where there exist TCPI Group affiliates. The level of activity presented a notorious growth compared to the previous year, several contracts in portfolio have started and have continued throughout the year 2014 enabling this growth. The activity on the African continent continues to play an important role in TCPI Group results. In 2014 we profited already from the activity of TCPI Nacala, in Mozambique, providing the expected growth and development on this continent. TCPI Angola presented, before the end of the year, a level of portfolio very similar to the previous year, being the company of the TCPI Group that holds the highest value of backlog for the coming years. It is expected that the main project in portfolio starts soon. It represents one of the most important investments in Angola. Likewise, Eastern Countries continue to represent an attractive activity zone for TCPI. In Estonia, the activity went on developing itself and expectations for the year 2014 have been reached. As regards the Group's net profit, the goal was achieved, demonstrating the Group's ability to recover from the situation presented in 2013 projects carried over from the previous year contributed to such a great recovery (the case of Cameroon and Estonia). The expectations for 2015 remain uncertain. It is not expected the recorded growth in 2014 to be continuous, not only for the effective response to proposals sent to clients (whose adjudications are not yet known), but also for the difficulty of ongoing projects locations. The year 2015 will be a year of challenges (financial and operational) where the effort and commitment of all TCPI Group will be, certainly, needed and highly appreciated.

PROJECTS TCPI in Mozambique
Há cerca de três anos atrás, com o objectivo de iniciarmos os nossos primeiros contactos comerciais no mercado Moçambicano conseguimos abrir a TCPI Moçambique e a TCPI Nacala com os meios necessários e uma estrutura capaz de responder às exigências legais, comerciais e industriais de Moçambique.
About three years ago, in order to begin our first business contacts in the Mozambican Market, we managed to open TCPI Mozambique and TCPI Nacala with the necessary resources and a structure able to respond to legal, commercial and industrial Mozambican requirements.
Hoje, estamos em condições de nos afirmarmos como uma empresa de construção Industrial Portuguesa, na área de Instrumentação e Controlo Industrial, Automação, Supervisão & Sistemas de Controlo e Electricidade Industrial, com capacidade para podermos abraçar novos projetos de grande envergadura, em Moçambique.
Today, we are able to introduce ourselves as an Industrial Construction Portuguese company, in the area of Instrumentation and Industrial Control, Automation and Supervision & Control System and Industrial Electricity, with the capacity to embrace new large projects in Mozambique.
Ao longo deste período tivemos, em pico de obra, cerca de 120 colaboradores. A nossa principal preocupação foi formar o pessoal local, transmitindo o know-how da TCPI, cuja exigência e a qualidade na execução dos trabalhos, são uma das nossas maisvalias na área industrial. Queremos ficar em Moçambique para crescer desenvolvendo, simultaneamente, as capacidades técnicas da mão-de-obra Moçambicana preparandoos para o futuro industrial de Moçambique. A TCPI em Moçambique já trabalha para os principais clientes estabelecidos no país, seguindo os princípios, as regras e qualidade exigida pelos mesmos e promovendo o desenvolvimento industrial de Moçambique.
Throughout this period, we had around 120 employees during work peak. Our main concern was the training of local personnel by transmitting TCPI Knowhow, whose demand and quality in work performance are one of our strengths in the industrial area. We want to stay and grow in Mozambique by developing, simultaneously, the technical expertise of the Mozambican’s workforce, preparing it for the industrial future of Mozambique. TCPI in Mozambique already works, for the country established main clients, following the principles, the rules and the quality required by them and promoting the industrial development of Mozambique

Ao longo deste período de desenvolvimento da TCPI, em Moçambique, deparámo-nos com situações e condições adversas, tais como o recrutamento de pessoal qualificado, a altas temperaturas constantes e uma época de chuva anormal causando danos elevados e atrasos no desenvolvimento dos trabalhos dos clientes.
Along this TCPI development period, in Mozambique, we faced situations and adverse conditions, as the recruitment of qualified personnel, the constant high temperatures and an abnormal rainy season causing great damages and delays in the development of the works of the clients.
Apesar de tudo e porque estamos habituados, não deixámos de corresponder às expectativas cumprindo, sempre, com os objetivos traçados.
Despite everything and because we are used to, we have not failed to respond to the expectations, fulfilling, always, the objectives outlined.
O cumprimento dos objetivos com a referida qualidade só foi possível pelo empenho, dedicação e esforço de toda a equipa da TCPI em Moçambique e do pessoal local, nomeadamente: Direcção de Obra – Nelson Santos; Engenharia e Planeamento – Jorge Nobre; Produção – Nuno Veríssimo; Qualidade – Amado Pacule e Segurança – Benilde Cumbane.

PROJETO MOATIZE - VALE / CLN TCPI NACALA - A RETA FINAL
MOATIZE PROJET - VALE / CLN TCPI NACALA – FINAL COUNTDOWN
No Projeto Moatize expansão Porto de Nacala (gestão e transporte de carvão), a TCPI Nacala teve como scope of work: a Engenharia, o Aprovisionamento, a Construção, o Comissionamento da Instrumentação e Sistema DCS do Terminal de Carvão de Nacala-aVelha composto por um dumper de vagões, dois stackers, dois reclaimers, dois shiploaders e dezassete transportadores perfazendo cerca de 12 km de tapetes.
In the Moatize Project, the expansion of Nacala Port (management and transport of coal), the TCPI Nacala had the following scope of work: Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Instrumentation Commissioning and DCS System of the Coal Terminal at Nacala-a-Velha, made up of one wagon dumper, two stackers, two reclaimers, two ship loaders and seventeen carriers making a total of 12 km of conveyors.
É com satisfação que chegamos à fase final de construção com a tarefa do comissionamento em curso e a execução de testes. Foi um projeto de grande envergadura que impulsionou a TCPI em Moçambique.
We are pleased to have reached the final stage of construction with commissioning task underway and test performing. It was a huge project that boosted TCPI in Mozambique.

TCPI no Leste da Europa
TCPI in Eastern of Europe When TCPI focused its “eyes”, in 1999, on the East Europe, a successful series of projects were completed form CPC Oil Pipeline Project, running from Tangies to Novorossiysk, Blue Stream Gas Pipeline / Compression Station Project from the Caspian Sea via Beregovaya under the Black Sea to Samson, in Turkey, and the parallel Pipeline Project at Sakhalin Island.
Quando a TCPI colocou na sua mira a Europa de Leste, em 1999, uma série de projetos bem sucedidos foram realizados, desde CPC Oil Pipeline Project, ligando Tangies até Novorossiysk, Blue Stream Gas Pipeline / Compression Station Project desde o Mar Cáspio via Beregovaya sob o Mar Negro até Samson, na Turquia, e o projecto paralelo de Pipeline Project, na Ilha de Sacalina. Recentemente, existiram expectativas relativas à participação no Projeto South Stream na continuidade dos projectos referidos acima. Mas as sanções económicas e/ou agitação, na Ucrânia, ultimamente mudaram os planos sobre a execução deste projeto e mudando os planos da TCPI ao mesmo tempo. Mas falando da Ucrânia, a TCPI, mantém desde 2009 uma equipa de engenheiros projetistas na Joint Venture Novarka, em Kiev e mais tarde, em Slavutich, na área de Electricidade e Instrumentação no Projecto que consiste na criação de um sofisticado espaço confinado abrigando o reactor 4 danificado, na ex Central Nuclear, em Chernobyl. Em 2014, TCPI fez seus primeiros contatos com a Bouygues Energia para as obras de instalação elétrica e instrumentação neste projeto especial. As negociações sobre o âmbito dos trabalhos E&I podem ser concluídas, nas próximas semanas e, a mobilização pode começar, imediatamente, com a duração prevista de 24 meses. Recently, hopes were set on the participation at the South Stream Project in continuation to the projects refer above. But unfortunate economic sanctions and / or unrest, in the Ukraine, lately, changed the plans on this Project and TCPI changed at the same time. Speaking about the Ukraine, since 2009, TCPI is with a team of engineers working together with Novarka JV, in Kiev and later, in Slavutich, on the Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering for the new safe confinement project, which should create a sophisticated shelter over the troubled reactor 4, at the ex Nuclear Power Station, in Chernobyl. In 2014, TCPI made its first contacts with Bouygues Energy for the electrical and instrumentation installation works on this special project. Talks about the E&I installation scope can hopefully be completed during the coming weeks and mobilization can start immediately on a 24 month scheduled installation program.

Ao longo dos anos, a TCPI ROMENIA com sede, em Bucarest, reforçou os laços comerciais com a empresa Heurtey Petrochem Manufacturing, para a qual TCPI executou vários Projectos de Skids. Recentemente, um novo contrato (Tidikelt) foi assinado e outras quatro propostas entregues estão em fase de análise. Aguardamos com otimismo que sejam adjudicadas com arranque de novos Projetos, no segundo trimestre de 2015.
Over the years, TCPI ROMANIA whose headquarter was established, in Bucarest reinforced a close relationship with the company Heurtey Petrochem Manufacturing, for which TCPI executed a long series of Skids. Recently, a new contract (Tidikelt) was signed and four other delivered proposals are awaited with optimism to be turned into contracts, during the 2nd quarter of 2015.
Na Sérvia, a TCPI está a finalizar a obra de “Reconstrução de um Tanque” na Refinaria da NIS, em Novi Sad, que tinha sido danificado durante a intervenção da NATO, nos Balcãs.
In Serbia, TCPI is putting the last hand on the “Tank Reconstruction Project” at the NIS Refinery, in Novi Sad which was damaged during the NATO campaign, in the Balkan.
No decorrer do Projeto, na Refinaria da NIS, têm surgido novas oportunidades de trabalhos para a TCPI, tais como, trabalhos na Unidade de Hidrogénio e de Lubrificantes. Para ambos os projectos, já ocorreram as primeiras conversações. Provavelmente, com a queda do preço do petróleo, os investimentos para as novas instalações, neste segmento de indústria, vão abrandar. Contudo, a TCPI continua a ser consultada com pedidos de cotações, noutras indústrias, nomeadamente, em Centrais Eléctricas, em diversos países, como o Reino Unido, a Polónia, a Croácia e até mesmo o México. During the Project execution, at NIS Refinery new works opportunities are available for TCPI such as, works in Hydrogen Unit and in a Lube Oil Plant. For both projects first discussions have taken place. Probably, due to the drop in the crude oil prices, investments in new installations for this segment of industry are stagnating. In contrast, TCPI is receiving several requests for quotations on Electrical Power Stations ranging from countries such as England, Poland, Croatia and even Mexico came to our attention, leaving TCPI hopeful to gain another project such as the one which is currently well underway in Estonia, Narva.

Começámos 2015 com o mesmo Evento dos últimos anos – Corrida “Fim da Europa”.
We have started 2015 with the same event of the last few years – “Europe´s End Road” Race.
Esta corrida de 17kms foi bastante desafiante, em que parte do percurso foi bastante “duro”. Desenrolou-se na serra de Sintra com uma paisagem única, que fez com que os nossos atletas nos tenham “brindado” com um 7º lugar em 149 Equipas a competir. Agradecemos a Todos os que participaram, destacando o “trio maravilha” Rui Monteiro, Bruno Luís e Luís Chaves, responsáveis pelo 7º lugar alcançado pela TCPI!
This race was quite challenging, 17kms, part of the path being quite "hard". It took place at Sintra hills with a unique landscape, where our athletes had the merit to win the seventh position in the race, amongst 149 competing Teams. We thank all of those who participated, highlighting the "wonder trio" Rui Monteiro, Bruno Luis and Luis Chaves, responsible for the achievement of TCPI´s 7th position!
Seguiram-se os 20kms de corrida e 5kms de caminhada, em Cascais, onde os nossos corredores voltaram a “dar nas vistas” e os nossos caminhantes desfrutaram do passeio em alegre convívio.
After that the 20 km race and the 5 km walk in Cascais took place, where our runners managed to "get noticed", once again, and our walkers enjoyed the promenade in a cheerful gathering.
Dia de Carnaval, a TCPI pegou nas Bikes e foi novamente para a serra de Sintra, mas desta vez para um passeio de BTT bastante divertido.
On “Mardi Gras”, TCPI took the Bikes and went back to Sintra Hill, but this time for a quite fun mountain bike ride.
A 1ª prova da Taça de Portugal de Downhill foi um grande sucesso para a “nossa” equipa, uma vez que alcançaram vários troféus individuais que culminou no 1º lugar para a Moto Clube de Faro/Xdream/Município de São Brás de Alportel.
The 1st round of the Portugal Downhill Cup was a Great success for "our" team who won several individual trophies leading the Moto Clube de Faro / Xdream / city of São Brás de Alportel to the first place.
Este ano, a maior prova de Atletismo em Portugal, contou novamente com a presença da TCPI. Para além da Meia e Mini Maratona, estivemos com as nossas crianças nos Mini Campeões, onde deram o seu melhor e se divertiram, perguntando no final, quando é a próxima?
This year, TCPI was present once again in the largest athletics race in Portugal. Besides the Half and Mini Marathon, we have participated with our children in the Mini Champions, where they did their best and had fun, asking at the end of the Mini Race, when would the next one take place.
A Meia Maratona de Lisboa completou os 25 anos e contou com a estreia do nosso colega Belchior Fontão que contou com o apoio dos experientes Bruno Luís e Rui Monteiro, para alcançar um excelente resultado na sua 1ª corrida. Estamos a preparar os próximos eventos até à chegada do verão, estejam atentos e continuem a cuidar da vossa saúde e bem-estar, fazendo uma boa alimentação e desporto. The Lisbon Half Marathon completed 25 years and had the debut of our colleague Belchior Fontão, who had the support of the experienced Bruno and Rui Luís Monteiro, in order to achieve an excellent result in his 1st race.
