<What is the Cause of Tourette’s Syndrome?>

The exact cause of this condition is not sharply found, but the cause may be an environmental cause such as stress or anxiety. Another cause could be the chemicals in the brain that controls muscles in a person’s body The chemical sends dysfunctional signals to our muscles and that is also why people with tourette’s twitch.

<Tic Attacks>

Tourette’s syndrome is bad enough, but this is not all about Tourette's. People with this condition have this thing called tic attacks A tic attack is when a person has unstoppable amounts of constant tics and can occur because of Tourette’s or other tic disorders.

<Tics

in Public>

Tics happen in any place the person is at, such as malls or playgrounds. It is embarrassing to be ticcing outside, but it is worse because of the stares of people who don't know or understand what Tourette’s syndrome is. When people stare, the person may feel anxiety, and then if they feel anxiety, the tics get worse It is just a big cycle of anxiety and tics

<Is

There a Cure for Tourette’s?>

There is no cure for this heartbreaking condition yet, but kids who have this condition do not need treatment since they might go away naturally when time passes by. But for people who still have Tourettes during adulthood, they may need a treatment for this tic.

The operation for DBS involves implanting chips which control the signals that get sent and can control the tics It takes almost three hours to work on the surgery.

<How to React to Tourette’s Syndrome>

There are several ways to deal with a person that has Tourette’s syndrome. First, don't stare at the person that is ticcing. As I said, it is not good for people who get stares, since anxiety may hit Also, don't laugh at the person It is okay to laugh with the person but not okay to laugh at it.
