Strategy at FourKites. In this role, he leads his organization to drive and partner ecosystem.

Previously, Fab was GVP of Solution Strategy at Blue Yonder, responsible for developing innovative strategies across all industry verticals, prospects, and advising companies on best practices to become acquisition in January 2010, after spending more than 10 years at i2 serving in transportation-focused senior management positions. In these roles, he helped lead i2’s global transportation practice, including marketing, presales, roadmap development and services functions.

Fab holds an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics, with a specialization in business and information systems, from the University of Waterloo in Canada.

BRET JOHNSON

Senior Associate Director, Transportation Center Northwestern University

Bret Johnson is the Associate Director of the Northwestern University Transportation Center (NUTC), and the Director of the Center for the Commercialization of Innovative Transportation Technology at Northwestern. Bret manages corporate relations and engagement for education programs with and for industry and public sector partners. In this role, he also helps nurture, grow, and develop programming for the Transportation Center’s Business Advisory Council. Bret also conducts management positions at 3COM, Grayhill, Northrop-Grumman, and GE Astrospace. He received an M.A. in Science, Technology and Public Policy from The George Washington University, an M.S. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University, and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.

PEETER KIVESTU

Principal Oplytix, LLC advisory services and solutions in travel, transportation, smart cities,

and related urban services. For some 15 years, he developed

transportation solution strategies for Teradata, a data analytics company, meeting the challenges of their private/public sector clients all over

technology at American Airlines, Canadian Airlines International, and Northwest Airlines, including roles as VP of Advanced Programs, VP Materials Management (aircraft parts & logistics), and VP B2B Sales. Peeter holds an Engineering degree from Brown University and a Master’s degree in Aeronautics from MIT.

William A. Patterson Distinguished Chair in Transportation Director, Transportation Center Northwestern University

Hani S. Mahmassani is Director of the Transportation Center, and the William A. Patterson Distinguished Professor in Transportation at

Kellogg School of Management. He previously served in endowed faculty

scholar and professional in the transportation and logistics area. Mahmassani is recognized nationally and internationally for a broad

array of transportation research achievements; his applications span both passenger and freight, and he has been especially effective at connecting advanced models to emerging policy issues. He has pioneered the use of novel data sources and real-time data streams in transportation modeling and decision-making, including sensor data

from intelligent transportation systems deployments, probe data from GPS and smartphones, transaction records from payment systems, and vehicle-based tracking systems. His current research is focused emerging mobility service models.

Omar Singh is the President of Surge Transportation. He has more than company owner, and broker. He sits on the Board of Directors of TIA, speaks publicly, and writes about industry topics. He has spearheaded Surge Transportation’s notable rise as a leading player in API Real-time pricing and manages initiative integrations with BluJay Solutions, Blue Oracle.
